As though that isn't what he did.

Spinner, you did something that in the end even Deku couldn't do, that his most stalwart defenders will say he had to kill Shigaraki because this alternative was impossible of him. You saved Shigaraki Tomura from All For One.

I hope you get to realize that someday.
