I have returned! With an opening for my Wish AU.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a young man who believed there was nothing more powerful than a wish.

But not just any wish; the one that drives your heart. The wish that shows you who you are. But he also knew how impossible it was to make that certain wish come true…

Just like when his entire town was destroyed by invaders from across the sea, everything he called home was left in the dust. The only things he had left were his loyal wife and an orphaned baby girl who they found not long after.

They may have been heartbroken, but the pair didn’t want to lie down defeated, they wanted to do something about it.

The man journeyed through the land studying the magic of their world tirelessly. Soon enough he and his wife became mighty sorcerers. Able to protect them from harm, anyone’s wish can now be given to them, and for the good and worthy, they can even grant those wishes.

The young couple eventually found an island deep in the Mediterranean Sea. There they built their own kingdom like no other, where more people came from far and wide to settle in, and to one day hope their own wishes can come true.

They became the kingdom’s king and queen, and the baby they took in became the princess - they named her Asha.

The kingdom may seem like a the happiest place on Earth on the surface, but there was something the people didn’t know. The more wishes the king and queen kept for themselves, the stronger their magic became, and the more it created a new forbidden power. Only time will tell what it could be.

As for Asha, she grew into a gentle, well- mannered young lady who studied hard to meet her parents’ expectations. So much so that around the time of her 18th birthday, she had no clue what her own personal wish might be, and maybe or maybe not know if it can be granted.
