My boyfriend received a commission from her in August. The payment was discussed and settled to be $75-$100. My boyfriend began working on the commission. At the time, Raine was in the same friend circle as us, so we expected it to go fairly smoothly. Few weeks later, and my boyfriend is done with the commission. Raine kept putting off payments and blaming it on her mom (which is awfully childish), or miscellaneous things. Another few weeks, still no payment. Communication was bleak for a while, until an argument broke in the friend circle that caused Raine to (once again, childishly) storm off to her own way. My boyfriend received a message saying Raine would pay the commission, then cut us off for good. Great. Few days later, and Raine explains she's been fired. It's been a few days since then, but I am posting this for any other artists who may be considering opening commissions or have received commissions from her. She will NOT pay you for months on end, and still probably won't pay you.
