Pattern I noticed: Charlie has a huge thing about names

Well no, not Charlie. Everyone who disrespects her refuses to call her by her name

Adam doesn't once refer to her by name, only condescending pet names ("sweetie", "your bitch", "little miss butterflies and rainbows", "Karen", and worst of all "Lilith's little hottie") (someone else actually pointed this one out on here, if I find the post again I'll link it here).

Katie Killjoy insists on calling her Charlotte in the pilot, if not just a play on her title (Charlie actually almost snapped at her in the pilot for ignoring her correction)

Val calling her "Chalkie or Chandler or idk something mannish like that" (ep 2)

Vox calling her "Little Miss Bleeding Heart" (ep 2)

Otherwise people usually refer to her as Lucifer's daughter or, occasionally, the princess of Hell (or in Val's words, the devil's princesa)

In episode 4 when Val is acting painfully overly familiar with her he only ever calls her "princess" or "your highness", an attempt to suck up to someone of higher station while he's also stomping over any kind of reasonable boundaries (licking her arm upon clearly first meeting her, like in what universe is that a good conversation starter) and trying to talk her into a contract with him

Sera calling her "Lucifer's misguided daughter" when she's not around to hear it, "daughter of the Morningstar" to her face and "princess Morningstar" in front of the court.

Lute refers to her and Vaggie as "the hellspawn" in ep 6 (even though Vaggie was, as Lute knows very well, not spawned in Hell)

Lucifer going "hey bitch!" Instead of his intended "hello Charlie" or "hey, Char-Char" also has this effect (ep 5)

It's very frequently either a demeaning nickname, or a title that directly ties her to her father, but hardly ever her correct name. She's either being made fun of, or basically told "I only treat you respectfully because of your unfortunately very powerful father"

Then in episode 8:

In the final battle, Charlie stabs Adam after he called her by demeaning nicknames again and tells him to use her proper title: "that's princess of Hell to you, pig"

Katie Killjoy uses Charlie's full correct name in the news segment after the hotel fended off the angelic attack: "Charlie Morningstar fended off the angelic attack with more than just nice words" and continues to use her full name, even when referring to Lucifer as "our demonic head honcho Lucifer". I'd argue so much as attempting to fight the angels gained Charlie quite some respect in Hell, especially when she and her family managed to send the angels back home before the rest of Hell could be targeted

I don't know exactly where I'm going with this thought but it's a motif I noticed that plays into how Charlie is respected by people in Heaven and Hell alike, and felt the need to point out
