Awhile back, I wanted to make a story about a tree/forest spirit that's forced to live in some shitty apartment in New York after his habitat was demolished for more housing or whatever. He then spends his days just trying to coexist with the people around him, occasionally using his spiritual nature powers to help others in some way; probably solve crimes, or like, grow a rooftop garden?
