a war and a genocide are different kinds of violence. a war is a fight between countries or groups, usually with soldiers targeting each other. genocide, however, is when a specific group of people is targeted and killed because of their race, religion, or ethnicity, with the goal of wiping them out. what's happening in palestine is being called a genocide because of the mass killings, forced displacement, and ongoing suffering of palestinians. it's a terrible situation, with thousands of people dying every day, yet many aren't speaking up about it. please educate yourself on what genocide is.
