So I have been on this goonie app for quite some time and I have beared witness to the shit-show it has become in some ways, but there’s still hope. With that being said, I just have to say that I have never come across much Trinbagonian cultural content and I’d like to change that. STARTING WITH OUR DIALECT (the who, what, where and why of Trinbagonian culture will come after). 

Inspired by my own thoughts and actions sometimes, I felt the need to teach the general Tumblr public of a truly significant, comical and honestly, iconic way of saying stupid/dumb/senseless/head empty, no thought. And that is

D O T I S H (pronounced doh-tish).

Ladies and gentlemen, in the midst of a global pandemic, I have finally taken the opportunity to turn my Tumblr experience around. At 22 years of age, after being on this goonie site for so long as a simple bystander/supporter of blogs and other people’s works, I have decided to no longer be non-existent to my favorite artists, writers, creative content makers, etc. on here. With a spanking brand new account, I have refollowed almost everyone that I had before, and have started making myself known with comments and reblogs and asks. Hope my faves and I can become good acquaintances, like I have seen happen before!

okay, but the way Bangtan was clowning Yoongi for being bad at making eye contact is P E A K devastation for their close relationship. They feel comfortable enough w each other to call each other out on their own little quirks like a family does and yoongi just sits there and accepts all their laughter and happiness at his expense like a doting big brother, i am in tears 😭 also the face jimin made when he imitated yoongi’s way of not making eye contact was just hilarious and I could see now why Yoongi says that Jimin is funnier to them these days 😂❤️

You know what doesn’t sit right and will NEVER sit right...

How George Floyd, a good innocent black man went to the store to buy things who then was murdered by a police officer for suspected forgery.

Then the next day Peter Manfredonia, a white armed serial killer who was on the run across 4 states, was caught and arrested peacefully.

And how black and black ally protesters in Minneapolis protesting for the arrest of the officers who killed George Floyd, were attacked by the police. They were peaceful.

But a few months ago, white people stormed governments buildings in Michigan protesting the quarantine because they wanted a haircut and the police did nothing to them. They were armed.

The problem is clear as water. WHITE PRIVILEGE AND RACISM. It exists and is real. Deny it? You’re the problem. Don’t say or do anything about it? You’re the problem. Abuse your white privilege? You’re the problem. Don’t see a problem with all this? YOURE THE PROBLEM.

CRY WITH THE BLACK COMMUNITY. MOURN WITH THEM. STAND ALONG SIDE WITH THEM. FIGHT FOR THEM. BECAUSE BLACK LIVES ARE IMPORTANT AND THEY ABSOLUTELY FUCKING MATTER.
