The storm nearby was rolling in as Onyx laid in bed. It was getting late but he couldn't sleep due to how much pain he was in. Soon enough, a small voice spoke up from his bedroom door. "Papa? Are you awake?" He turned to look at the source of the voice and it was his daughter Siana. "Unfortunately yes...are you struggling to sleep because of the storm...?" The little girl nodded and made her way over to him. She was still only six so he understood her need for his comfort.

Siana climbed into bed to lay beside him and she began picking at his bandages gently. "You should have Mister Nivek change them..." She mumbled a bit and Onyx smiled softly. "Don't worry about me so much...I'll be fine I promise..." Siana pouted and frowned. "But you always come home hurting!" Onyx's smile faded and he sighed deeply, turning his gaze towards the balcony outside. It was true and he hated that she ever had to see him in a state like this. But he had always made sure she never saw him in the worse states he'd been in.

The rain had began to fall which meant that the storm had officially arrived. "I know Siana...but I'm always alright, despite the hurt...you should be worried about your schooling. I understand you just want to take care of me, but it's my job to take care of you..." He turned back to her to give her a gentle pat on the head. "You're a good kid but you're just a kid...you can't take care of me." This only made her pout more. "Yes I can! Just wait! When I'm big and strong, I'll be the one taking care of you! And you can't stop me!" He chuckled softly. "I wouldn't dare try..."

He appreciated her concern and was happy to know that she didn't see him as the horrible father he felt he was to her. It wasn't long before she had fallen asleep beside him despite the storm outside. He tucked Siana in and sat her favorite plush next to her, getting as comfortable as he could himself underneath the blankets. He listened to the rain falling outside, keeping his gaze fixed on the closed curtains. Onyx's mind wandered with awful thoughts until he eventually slipped unconscious, not even realizing he had.

It wasn't until the soft shuffling had woken him, that Onyx had realized he fell asleep. He looked over to see Siana getting up out of bed. "Is it time for you to go to Nivek's...?" She looked at him, a bit startled since she hadn't meant to wake him up. "Mhm! He just got here." Onyx sighed and sat up a bit, wincing in pain shortly after. Siana frowned and panicked a bit. "P-please be careful Papa! You're still hurt!" He shook his head and gave her a small but pained smile. "I'll be alright little one...just go get ready and have Nivek make you some breakfast..." She nodded and hesitated but soon ran off to her room to get ready.

Onyx managed to lift himself out of bed, and got dressed in his comfortable clothing he usually wore around the house. A pair of black bed pants and his white tank top. He stepped out onto the balcony to smoke a cigarette, looking out at the ongoing rainfall. Many thoughts continued to plague his mind but most of it was his concern for Siana and her safety. Onyx didn't want her to protect him or care for him when she grew older. He wanted her to go off and enjoy her life without worrying about him so much. But his inability to die wasn't something he had ever discussed with her. She wasn't old enough to understand it yet.

Okay. So i've been kind of wanting to say this for a long time because i've noticed a couple of things...

I've noticed that ever since my mutuals and I drew our characters together... People have been wanting to make ocean characters/versions of their characters out of nowhere. Which is fine. Everyone can do what they want, and it's honestly a fun idea to draw sea based characters!

My main problem with it is that people are seeing it as a 'trend', and I don't want new people coming in and thinking they could just 'hop on the train'.

The reason why this upsets me is because it will harm me and my story. I don't want new people to come into my blog and just think Lolligo is a.. "Kraken version of the ink demon"

When he's not, he's more than that. He actually has lore, and a reason why he is sea based and why he is a Kraken. And I don't want people to think that i'm just part of this 'trend'.

I know it shouldn't upset me the way it does But I can't help but I get this pain in my chest. I'm just thinking about all of my hard work going to waste just because people are viewing this as a 'trend'.

Also, know that this is not me gatekeeping the idea of sea Inspired character/aus. People can do what they want. I'm honestly happy to see that people are doing more ocean based characters!

I am just concerned that the majority of people who are doing this are doing it because they saw us do it, and they have no real reason for making the character like that...

I feel like an asshole for feeling like this.

But it just generally concerns me because I don't want all of my hard work going to waste...

This was supposed to be something between friends not open for people to just everyone.

So I will be waiting patiently for new information or art with them

Okay so the recent post I did last night got a lot of attention and a lot of people are giving their support in somewhere apologising.

(Even the majority of them didn’t need to apologise)

But it was still very considerate and sweet of them that they cared enough to apologise nonetheless!!

For quite some time now, I thought my story Was boring and unoriginal… Even if none of you all know exactly what the story is yet. because I haven’t said anything.

And that’s the thing!! I thought it wasn’t worth sharing until now, Having all these people being so inspired by my story and seeing people actually liking my characters and their designs and the story I had told so far… It really means a lot to me and I want to think all of you for the support!!!

I didn’t think anyone would care this much about my story and want to see where it goes so thank you very much !!! 

So I will keep on working hard to write and draw the story I want to tell for lolly go because there’s so much in store I would like to share with you

WE'RE WORRIED ABOUT THE BABY

(little warning here, has a bit of implied gore in this)

So as some of you may know, Stoli works for a private investigative company, ran by an entity who calls itself Angel.

Now one night, basically the same as any other, Angel was up sorting through different case files. He would have an employee of his come into the office and inform them that something had been found outside of the company building and no one knew what to do with it.

Intrigued, since no one could really tell what it was, he would follow the disturbed (and strangely excited) employee to the front of the building.

There, they would find a demon.

A poor mangled demon, that was basically strewn across the steps leading up to the large doors of the building, where Angel now stood looking down at it.

They'd be able to tell what it was by the horn that was left and general face shape, with the wide eye that stared up at him in the darkness, the rest was too soaked in its ink to really be recognisable in the gloom of the night.

In that moment of shock upon seeing this grizzly sight, instead of horror Angel would see it as an opportunity. An, albeit disgusting, little opportunity. Because upon examination this demon was young and still... fairly functional despite the clear damage.

So, Angel would scoop the shattered form up into his arms and take the demon into the building and, after making sure it was capable of signing it's employment papers of course, worked on repairing what was left of the demon.
