Mike is a sax or drum player, Erica is a French Horn player, Zoe does cymbals, Warren does the snare drum, Chip does Tuba, and Jawa also does flute

opinions on a possible Spy school marching band AU?

in seriousness it would manifest as a normal!highschool au, but the prospect of the CIA's spy academy having a fucking marching band is rather funny to me.

wondering what the conflict might be\how Murray's betrayal might translate to this concept

Its been spinning in my brain for a while

First and foremost, the cast of Spy School would ABSOLUTELY be a bunch of band kids

What if Murray’s betrayal is him quitting marching band and joining theater /j

Perhaps SPYDER is a rival school, and they have Marching Band competitions

Maybe Murray joins up with them because it’s a better quality school, and feels no challenge or excitement at the Academy

And Ben would absolutely be a mathlete, fight me

One of my major pet peeves with Jekyll & Hyde adaptations is that they always give Hyde the Hulk-treatment by turning him into this large, monstrous creature when in the book he actually becomes smaller and younger after his transformation?! No, for real, he SHRINKS. And he's not exactly monstrous or ugly; his vibes are just rotten. People tend to describe an encounter with him as "I cannot put my finger on it but something was just OFF about this guy." Vibe check failed. Imagine this mellow, middle-aged, dad-bod gentleman suddenly turning into a nasty frat boy who just automatically evokes a flight-or-fight response in you. Like, you just take one look and instinctively go "Ew, he looks like a terrifying asshole, I want to deck him in the face." That's Edward Hyde.
