@ everyone in mcytblr…. please reblog posts you like. this isn’t like instagram or twitter. likes don’t do shit here. the only way to share posts that you like is by reblogging them. the like-to-reblog ratio in this fandom is one of the worst i’ve ever seen. that is not very encouraging for content creators in the fandom. if you see a post you like, REBLOG IT!!! DON’T JUST LIKE IT!!!!!

and for people more new to tumblr, reblogging is different from reposting (this one mostly applies to art). reblogging is putting another person’s post on your blog but still keeping the original source (it’s like retweeting). artists WANT you to reblog. it gets them exposure. reposting is saving the art to your device and posting it yourself without credit. DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPLICIT PERMISSION FROM THE ARTIST!!!!! EVEN IF YOU DO GIVE CREDIT!!!

if you don’t want to put mcyt on main for whatever reason, just make a sideblog solely for reblogging things. it’s still better than nothing. y’all NEED to get better at reblogging, or you’re just gonna drive artists and other content creators away.
