Wild idea instead of being annoyed at your friends with anxiety for being anxious about your relationship and retreating into themselves you reach out and reassure them there is nothing to be anxious about and that you love them. Sure, their emotional/mental health is not on you to solve but if you love them, support them by expressing care when you suspect they need it. I genuinely don’t understand how many friendships are ended because someone had anxiety and someone else didn’t think it was their “responsibility” to reassure them that they were not in fact, a burden.
