Honestly so many BATIM characters are just ridiculously funny in concept.

Like

POV: You go into the sewers. They are filled with ink. You find a tape recorder from some guy. This guy says he only comes down here to work all day because he can’t stand other people. This is in the sewers. You go further in. You find a blob. The blob has a hat. The blob is presumably what remains of the tape guy. You immediately crush them with a box. You like their hat. They are never heard from again.

POV: You are in a abandoned toy shop. You find a tape recorder. An Irish guy immediately starts talking about how they deliberately sabotaged a bunch of dolls for no reason other than they wanted to. They have no idea why anyone is angry with them. They are never heard from again.

POV: You are doing a series of pointless tasks from a person who will most definitely kill you. They give you an axe to deliberately antagonise something to kill you. It occurs to you to break the boards on a nearby door to find any secrets. You find a tape recorder. On the tape recorder a guy talks openly about how fucked the studios financial situation is and how they don’t like their job. They immediately spill a company secret. You later go into their office and hear a tape of them dying horrifically. They are never heard from again.

POV: You are attempting to run and hide from three creatures that will kill you by throwing cans of bacon soup to distract them so you can pull a lever. You enter a room. There is a defunct animatronic. You play a tape recorder. The person on the tape recorder says that they are tired of everyone else because they’re the smartest toughest person there. They are scared of the animatronic. They think it moves. It never moves. They are never heard from again.

POV: You are in a section of an abandoned studio dedicated to an abandoned theme park that has never been mentioned before. You climb up a bunch of stairs with ominous messages and find a tape from a person who builds theme parks. They think they’re the greatest person alive. They were just publicly humiliated. They are going to carry on out of spite. They are British. You continue further and find another tape recorder in a room with a carnival ride. The door closes behind you. The person reappears on the tape and swears their revenge on the studio head. The Carnival ride opens and their head is inside it. You have a boss fight. You kill them.

They are never mentioned again

I think we should bring back that thing everyone did in 2014 where you badly photoshop two characters from entirely different media together to look like they’re in love. This is my proposal for doc ock x glados please consider
