it's hilarious but also infuriating how you can be an artist that depicts minority groups in the most respectful way, and even dare to depict them with sexuality, and there will still be people out there who accuse you of having a specific fetish for the groups you depict in your artwork.

as pathetic as it is, it's really frustrating to me that some folks who police people's artwork think that marginalized folks cannot express sexuality because to them it's "icky and gross" and that they have to remain abstinent and "wholesome" to be acceptable. gross puritan shit but, same can even be applied if you don't depict them sexually.

Crazy how, time and time again, fundraising posts get the least amount of notes. A random errant thought I had during the day will, on average, accumulate more notes than a fundraiser that I actually push for engagement. Why is that? Are other human lives not worth a millisecond of your effort? Are they not even worth your spare change? What makes my humanity (or yours) more compelling than theirs?
