Remi Noir ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช

Backstory:

Remi's father, Lucian Letzte, was a German businessman who moved to New Amsterdam (New York) in search of a new job. Remi's mother, Molly Noir, was a French woman of the lower class forced by her family to marry Lucian, mainly for money.

Lucian wanted to have a male child, so he could have an "heir" for the Letzte family. But the child, Remi, was a female, much to Lucian's dismay. For that reason, Lucian loathed his daughter for most of his life.

Remi was born under the name "Remi Letzte", but changed her name later on to "Remi Noir", taking on her mother's last name. The reason for this will be given later.

Lucian and Molly's relationship worsened further over the years, and on one night, Lucian finally snapped. Remi, who had been asleep on the second floor, went down to see why her parents were yelling. Coincidentally, the moment she opened the door to her parents' room, that was the moment Lucian grabbed his pistol and shot Molly, killing her instantly.

Remi, though she was horrified, recovered the shock quickly, managing to escape from her own house. She was soon taken in by some relatives from her mother's side of the family, who also happened to be living in the colonies. She changed her last name to her Noir.

Remi occasionally performed at a nearby circus, just to earn some extra cash. This was where she met Harvey Brooks, the adopted son of the ringmaster. He was a curious boy, who managed to instantly befriend her.

When word of the revolution made it's way to her home, she decided that she would fight on behalf of the colonies, wanting to make herself useful during the war, and not just by becoming a nurse or cook. She successfully got into the army after disguising herself as a man.

She was delightfully surprised once she realized that one of the people she was sharing a tent with was her friend Harvey, from the circus. The enthusiastic fellow was even more excited to see her, for he had feared that he would be fighting among strangers.

The other person sharing a tent with them was Xavier Gibble, someone that neither Remi nor Harvey knew. They had a rocky start, yes, but after some time, Xavier eventually warmed up to them.

Post-war:

After the war, Remi goes to work for Washington. She has a more professional personality now, but keeps her usual spark. No one is safe from Remi's pranks.

Death:

No one is quite sure of how Remi died. She went missing one day and was never seen again.

Personality:

Remi has a very charming personality, but is also quite manipulative. She can easily find ways to get information out of people during a simple conversation, and seems to have blackmail against everyone (rumor has it that she even has blackmail against Washington. Remi herself will neither confirm nor deny this). She easily makes friends, even if she's just using them for her own reasons. But despite all this, she is still respected among her comrades.

Extras:

She has a little pocket watch that she always carries around. Do NOT try to touch it. Or do. Then you'll probably end up dead.

She is also known as "the navigator", because is extremely good at finding and remembering shortcuts and alternative routes.

Harvey Brooks ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ

Backstory:

Not much is known about Harvey's childhood. The only thing people know is that he was orphaned at age seven. He claims that his parents died in a "construction accident", but people are unsure if this is how they actually died or not.

After the death of his parents, he was adopted by the young circus ringmaster Oliver Irving. Harvey decided for himself that he wanted to perform in Oliver's shows, and became a simple acrobat. The circus is where he met Remi, who would occasionally come in and perform tricks.

When the revolution started, Harvey decided that it should be his duty to volunteer, so he did. He was delighted to discover that one of the people he was sharing a tent with was his friend Remi.

Xavier was the other person who they shared a tent with, a stranger to both Harvey and Remi. They had a rocky start, but some of Harvey's cheerful personality rubbed off on him, and he warmed up to Remi and Harvey.

Post-war:

Harvey goes back to the circus, and after Oliver's death, he becomes the next ringmaster.

Death:

Harvey was performing on the trapeze when the equipment suddenly snapped, sending him plummeting to his death.

Personality:

Harvey has a blindingly cheerful personality. It's strange that despite this, he seems fine with killing redcoats.

Harvey's personality rubs off easily on others, easily lightening moods.

Extra:

He has an unusual obsession with snakes. And for some reason, most snakes don't bite him.

Xavier Gibble ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ

Backstory:

Xavier's parents were neglectful, usually more focused on gambling or alcohol than their own children. So Xavier was mainly raised by his older brother, Christopher.

Christopher left to go fight in the French and Indian War, but never died during the battle at Fort Necessity. Xavier was heartbroken after the death of his brother, and has held up a cold and angry demeanor ever since, though it is wearing back down to his past personality.

When the revolution started, Xavier decided to join the Continental Army, knowing that Christopher would have wanted him to do so. He had to share a tent with Remi and Harvey, two people he had never met before.

They had a rocky start, but with Harvey's cheerfulness rubbing off on him, he eventually warmed up to the two.

Post-war:

Xavier goes to work at Harvey's circus, as a magician.

Death:

Xavier drowned to death after falling through a frozen lake.

Personality:

Xavier has a cold, angry demeanor, masking his real personality with snappy retorts. He is actually a rather kind person, but only close friends of his are able to see that.

Extra:

He has a crush on Harvey.

He strongly dislikes Washington (because of his brother's death at Fort Necessity).
