Finch, no matter what, would always say yes to their friends whenever they were asked. Unless they were unavailable or had said yes to another friend prior that. But when Minjoon had asked them if they wanted to have lunch, they immediately agreed. It had been a while since the two of them hung out with each other and they would take any opportunity to do so. The other man had visited them a number of times at the hospital even though it must’ve been uncomfortable for him. Walking in the restaurant, the moment they spotted Minjoon, they waved their hand excitedly.

Despite knowing Finch for as long as he had, Minjoon still flushed at the greeting he was given. He ducked his head to hide the redness in his cheeks but not before he’d given a wave of his own to say hello. He made sure to make eye contact when they got to the table and lifted his hands so he could sign to avoid having to raise his voice in a busy restaurant to be heard. ‘Thank you for coming. It’s good to see you.’ There was a pause as his cheeks flushed darker at his admission. ‘I missed you.’

As much as I was actually going home to dye my hair sounded like one of the worst excuses Minjoon had probably given to not spend time with someone though it actually wouldn’t have been in his top three, Joonie was more than grateful that David had offered his help. He’d heard the horror stories of home dye gone wrong and David sounded confident enough with his offer so he headed over to his friends apartment instead of his own - though not before making a stop to get thank you cookies first.
