To say Niki and Sunoo were acting weird would be a horrible understatement.

Sure, you knew your friends were always behaving in… their very particular way, and you loved and accepted them like that, but today?

Today was… different.

After meeting for lunch (yes, Niki did pay for it, which really surprised you… Even though Sunoo gave him a reprobating stare since he knew where he got that money from), the three of you made your way to the auditorium since you wanted to see the photography exposition.

You were walking some steps ahead of them, too concentrated on something you were searching on your phone you wanted to show your friends, to actually pay attention to the silent commotion they were going through.

Since all of you were getting closer to where the plan was supposed to play, they knew they didn’t have a lot of time before you noticed them being more fidgety than on a daily basis, so they had to be fast.

“Quick!” Sunoo whispers-shouts, “you need to fake a fall.”

Niki frowns at this, answering with the same tone the older boy was using. “Me? Why me? Why don’t you fake the fall, hyung?”

“Because you said yesterday that you were going to do it!”

“But what if I don’t want to do it anymore?!”

Sunoo holds back a scoff, elbowing the taller boy and pointing his head towards you. “Do it right now, bitch! Or this plan isn’t going to work out!”

“I don’t want to!”

The duo starts a small fight between them, and when Sunoo sees Niki almost losing his balance, he takes this opportunity and pushes him to the floor.

“Ow!— What the fuck hyu—“

“OH MY GOD! Niki, are you okay?!”

You turn around at hearing the sudden agitation, widening your eyes at seeing a Niki sitting on the floor and Sunoo kneeling just beside him. Walking quickly towards them, you miss the way Niki’s eyes are literally burning holes on the older’s face, Sunoo trying his best to hold back his laughter.

“Niki? What happened? Are you—“

“Y/n, quick! I need my backpack!” Sunoo interrupts you, pointing at one of the open classrooms to his left, “I have a first kit aid inside it!”

You tilt your head in confusion. “Uhh, shouldn’t we walk Niki to the nurse's office? I mean, what if he—“

“We don’t have time for that! Don’t you see the poor boy is suffering?”

Niki, at feeling both of his older’s friends gaze on him, starts groaning in feign pain as he hugs his knee closer to his chest. “Help! SOS! I’m going to die!”

Sunoo inhales a sharp breath while trying not to cringe at the poor acting Niki was doing, but since it looked like you got more worried about the boy, Sunoo presses with his comments again.

“What are you doing there just standing Y/n! Go find the backpack!”

Throwing your hands in surrender, you sprint to the classroom Sunoo pointed some seconds ago. “Geez, okay! I’m on my way.”

Making your way inside of it, you start looking around for the obnoxious orange backpack your friend has carried since the very first day of school. Sunoo always sat at the back since he didn’t want his teachers to scold him whenever he took a nap. But when you reach that part of the big classroom, it’s when realization hits.

Sunoo didn’t take any classes on this classroom.

“Wait a minute—“

Looking around to where the entrance was, you can’t help but gasp out loud when you get sight of Sunoo, Niki and–

“Lee Heeseung?!”

The tall boy just waves at you, a small ‘hi’ escaping his lips as he gives you a mischievous smile.

You run towards the door, but Sunoo is quicker and he slams it shut on your face. Holding the doorknob, you desperately try for it to open, totally failing at seeing that they successfully locked it from outside.

Knocking restlessly on it, you start screaming.

“Hey!? HEY!? What the fuck Sunoo?! NIKI! Let me out of here!”

“It’s for your own good, Y/n!” Sunoo’s muffled voice answers you. “You’ll thank us later!”

“The only thing I’ll be doing later it’s kill the both of you if you don’t open the fucking door right now!”

At the other side of the door, Heeseung sees how Niki shares a worried glance with his older friend.

“Noona wouldn’t kill us, right?” Niki asks in a joking tone, but Sunoo doesn’t answer and the smile on Niki's face disappears. “… Right, hyung?”

“Yeah, haha… Right.”

(Even Heeseung got worried with that cryptic answer.)

Giving up with the insistent knocking, you look around trying to find a way out, a lightbulb turning on inside your head when you get sight of the windows.

Thank god you were on the first floor.

“I’ll jump out of the window, then!”

Running towards the big crystals, you start smiling in victory.

But you don’t even have time to totally reach them, instead, you see three known faces appearing out of god’s know where and closing the windows too in front of your face, making you stop dead in your tracks.

“Hi bestie!” Jay greets you from outside, “sorry about this, but it’s the only way.”

Jake waves at you, and Sunghoon smiles at you.

You frown at them, why did all of them looked so happy?

You try to push a window open. “Hey, let me out!”

Sunghoon shakes his head in denial, pushing the window back and making you groan in frustration. “We can’t! You gotta listen first.”

“Listen? Listen to what—“

“Y/n.”

You feel your breath hitching in your throat at hearing that voice behind you.

You shut your eyes closed, praying to whatever deity that this bad joke would stop right now, or that you were just dreaming and you would wake up at any give moment (spoiler: it wasn’t a joke, and to your dismay, this was really happening)

Hearing the shuffling of steps, you feel the warm presence of the boy looming just behind you. Your heart is about to jump out of your chest and you start feeling your hands clammy and shaky.

Inhaling deeply, you turn around in your heel slowly, finally open your eyes and facing a very serious looking Yang Jungwon.

He stares at you for some seconds, gulping down the nervous throat forming in his throat.

“We need to talk.”

➞ SUMMARY. the first time you draw jungwon was because he was there, and for some weird reason, he brought back your inspiration. the second (and the other... hundred more times) you find yourself drawing him, it’s because you realized he was your new muse. you didn’t think too much about it, after all, neither him nor his friends know you, so it wasn’t like yang jungwon would find out about this... right?
