this is deffinately not verry easy and "human" but you can count up to 512 using binary counting , for a bit of fun if you used the 24 folds on your hands from the post above as a bit you could count to over eight million (8388608)

there IS actually a reason why seconds and minutes (and degrees for geometry) are in base 60 instead of base 10, and if you want to blame someone for that, blame the very specific way Babylonians counted with their fingers.
