day something of using the bandit's knife in PvE:

having quickstep feels like crack. its not as strong on enemies that can't be backstabbed, but it still gives you such an advantage on positioning and aggression.

innate bleed build-up is nice when it does work. it doesn't happen often but it is what made early Dancer easy.

i'd say the only major downside to this weapon in PvE is that its Dogshit against any NPC enemies. they're too unpredictable to use typical dagger PvP mindgames, and the short range SUCKS when all of them have longer attacks and more reward than just *34* damage.

i am obsessed with this thing currently. i need to draw dark souls koishi someday because the dagger reminds me of them.
