So I'm still relatively new to Tumblr but I've read all your works on Ao3 and I absolutely love your writing. It always makes my day when you post essentially anything and that little notification pops up.

I wanted to request headcanons, ficlets or basically anything for Kakashi with a musician or singer. I have a character in my head who's a travelling musician, searching for a place (or person) to call home. I love how you characterise Kakashi in your works and I'd love to see what you come up with.

The Kakashi brainrot is eternal and it's nice to see someone who's a prolific writer in my opinion, love our boy so fondly. Anyway, thanks for being awesome! Hope you have a great day<3

hi there! generally speaking i don't really take requests just because i think too hard about it and suddenly it's six months later 😅 but i think i can offer up a couple of headcanons for you.

kakashi with a traveling musician s/o:

he only went to see your performance in the first place because gai had been begging him all week and he'd run out of excuses

but when he saw the way you played, he couldn't help but be mesmerized by how talented you were

he dragged gai to the other two performances you still had planned in the leaf

he convinced himself to talk to you at that final show, since he had no idea when you'd be back

you confess that you aren't really sure where you're going next, and he convinces you to stay in the leaf (at least just until you have something more solid—no pressure!)

he shows you around to all his favorite spots and finds it super effortless to talk to you

it takes him a good while to be confident enough to confess his feelings, but by that point it was already obvious to you

"why do you think i haven't performed more than a day outside the village all this time?"

he turns so red because he had no idea he was being so obvious but you just found it cute

he gets nervous when you go to perform too far from the village

if he has a mission and he can't go with you, he insists you take bull

somebody has to watch out for you

he knows you're used to the travel and you have a few tricks to handle yourself in case of danger but it doesn't hurt to have a little extra insurance

he loves to sit up in a tree and read while you sit at the base, leaning back against the trunk and practicing or writing new songs

he could spend days on end just like that

he also picks up the habit of humming your songs whenever he's in a good mood, which is far more often than it used to be
