Summary: When Ghost gets injured during a fight, it’s your job as his (almost personal) medic to help him out but the stubborn man refuses until you both get to safety. Good news, there is a hotel where you can clean him up and get some rest. Bad news, there’s only one bed and a lot of unspoken, unresolved tension between the two of you. 

   The cold of Russia’s late winter was harsh enough to seep through the car’s exterior. Despite the heater being on full blast, you still felt the draft of brittle dryness biting at your skin. Teeth chattering, you raise your gloved hands to your mouth and try to exhale your hot breath onto your numb fingers.

   Ghost looks over at you from the driver’s seat, just for a moment before his eyes are back on the icy roads. “We’ll be at the next village in no time,” he tells you.

   “Thank god,” you mutter. “I think my fingertips are gonna freeze off!”

   Ghost thinks of taking your hands in one of his. He could spare one hand on the wheel to help warm you up, but the thought of touching you leaves a bitter taste in his mouth- not at disgust of you, but himself. He has no right to touch you, to taint your skin with his contact, to mar your flesh. So he doesn’t, instead simply allowing his fingers to curl tighter around the steering wheel.

I’m a fan of you writing and was wondering if you could cook up some headcanons with a Medic!reader who sleeps around and offers comfort to all the COD boys. It doesn’t start out as well communicated as you would hope. The guys definitely start out a bit… territorial. 

At first, it’s just Ghost and Soap. It was a total accident the first time, just a night where the tension snapped and you got your back blown out and your holes filled. They work the best together, like their minds are on the same plane when it comes to fucking you.
