It seems people forget that Gaza is under siege, not just since October 2023 but actually since 2007. I feel like people talk about this acceleration of genocide as if the injured can get airlifted or that people can flee to nearby countries. Gaza has been under a brutal Israeli siege for over 17 years where even things like jam and chocolate were not allowed into the strip. Gaza currently continues to be under the same Israeli siege where not even pain medication or crutches can get in. Israel has always controlled the inflow and outflow of everything, including how much water Gaza receives. This is why Israel was able to completely shut off the water supply of over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza, to the point where fires caused by Israeli bombing can't be put out simply because there is no water to do so.
Just keep this in mind as you navigate conversations about Gaza; the fact that what is happening now is an acceleration of what has been happening for years and years and by no means an isolated event.
Help Mohamed To Survive and Restore His Life
Hello Everyone... I am Mohamed Mikki From Gaza, Palestine. 24 years old, my life has been difficult since I was young, when I was 17 years old, I lost my father, and with my determination to build my future, I decided to continue my education in the field of multimedia technology and develop my skills through many courses in the same field, and I was working alongside my studies to cover my expenses in the field of graphic design, I was preparing myself to establish my life and future.
My Father:

When I try hard and acheived success in my university college :

When I start my own work:

But the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought with it a great tragedy, the war destroyed my home, my university, and my work, I was in the north, and I was displaced to the south where I faced famine and moved from one place to another in search of safety.

I have lived countless difficult and painful days during my many attempts to escape death, bombing, and destruction. In my places of displacement that the army says are safe but are never, life has become limited to escaping danger and searching for food among the rubble of destroyed homes.

My dream now is to travel abroad to continue my education, develop my skills, survive, and build my future that has been destroyed, as for the past nine months I have been unemployed due to the war conditions and the power and internet outage since the first day of the war, in addition to the frequent movement from one place to another to escape the war machine, missiles and death, as there was no stability for the absent work conditions.
Here your generosity can make a big difference, your support will help me rebuild my life and continue my education and will provide me with the opportunity to escape the circle of danger and destruction and strive towards a future full of hope and potential.
I humbly ask you to help raise funds to cover the costs of travel, education, and basic expenses as I seek to start a new life, every contribution, no matter how small, brings me a step closer to safety, stability, success, and building a better future.
Breakdown of Expenses
Rafah/Egypt crossing: $5000
Minimum Living Costs: $3000/per month
Egypt/Canada Tickets: $5000
Minimum Living Costs in Canada: $7000/per month

@90-ghost

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your interest in my request, your support means more to me than words can express, with your help I can turn a story of loss into a journey of hope and resilience...
With sincere gratitude
Mohamed Mikki
I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been marked by loss and resilience. When I was 18, my father passed away from COVID-19. Determined to build my own future, I pursued an education in multimedia technology, balancing my studies with work to cover my expenses. I was preparing to establish my home and life.

My mother: the princess whom we strive to make happy and satisfy. ❤️️

However, the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought devastating tragedy. My home, university, job, and family were all destroyed in the conflict. While my family moved to the south, I was in the north, facing famine and moving from place to place, trying to survive.

Our street used to be lively and full of people, but it is no longer like that.

I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.
I have survived many times,I was hit by a missile in previously destroyed house
This picture is enough to show our suffering in getting flour to survive.

My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.
Your help can save a family from death, it can save a dream, an ambition, or a success, so please help me by donating or publishing my story so that I can save my family.

🚨urgent 🚨
My whole life is attachment in this link , may god not forgive you ,if you don't publish my story , d0n@te! a little ,Share a post with as much as possible . 👇👇
This is not a campaign we can wait weeks to complete. My parents are very tired due to the lack of medicines to treat them. Diseases are everywhere. The situation is catastrophic. Death and displacement are following us everywhere. The bombing does not stop for a second. I do not want to lose any member of my family. I cannot bear this. I cannot remain without one of them.

Donate to the dentist Ahed from Gaza and 7 members of her family before it is too late. This campaign is funded by butterfly effect project line No.407

Anyone who knows me knows what I fought for from the first moment I created the campaign. This was the ultimate solution to make the sun shine again for every member of my family. I created an initiative and a campaign with all my strong motivation, and with all my will and determination to save them no matter what the cost. I have put all my energy into this battle to... save them. You put so much hope in every member of my family. I started fighting everyone who stood in my way.
I undertook this campaign for one goal only: to survive. So that we do not allow the occupation to kill us in cold blood. I don't want to see myself cut into pieces. I don't want to see my family in this horrible way. I won't stand it. You who are reading my words will not bear to live in this hell for a single minute, so you will fight for me because you are a human being, no matter how much I explain to you the details of the suffering that I experience every minute and every risk that I take just in order to survive.
I decided to start posting on the Tumblr application, which I did not know about, but I came across it by chance. I hope that this coincidence will be the reason for saving 8 people from death and genocide. I have great hope for you. I know you will help me and stand up. By my side in this ordeal and difficult circumstances
For those who do not know us, we are a family of 8 people: my mother, father, two daughters, 3 brothers, and a little girl. I am Ahed, a dentist at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, in the fourth year, and my sister Samah is in high school. My father is diabetic and my mother has pneumonia, and my brothers are Jamal, Hamada, and Hamdan.
Asking for your help is the only way I have to rescue my family’s life and future, your help may become our hope when hope is far away from us under these conditions, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a future of a youth one
Please don’t read this as a tragedy story ,, I’m here to ask you to prevent it from getting more tragedy and to help us start our life all over again. I’m here to ask for your help not your sympathy , to ask you to take action whether by donating or by sharing this to everyone you know who can help, please read this with your heart and take action as if it’s your family, your mom, your siblings who are under these conditions.

Another fundraiser I'd like to bring more attention to is that of Munna and her family.
Munna has 3 children, Rima, who is a teenager, Salah, an 11 year old, and Lina, who is only 5 years old. Their family has been forced to evacuate and they've been living in a small tent for the last 9 months of this ongoing genocide. They've faced countless dangers, from the threat of Israeli artillery to the famine and shortage of clean water.
Below you can see a video of young Lina, speaking about her family's situation
This family is saving up the funds currently to evacuate to Egypt, where they will be safe and the children will be able to continue their education and receive proper nutrition and healthcare.
This fundraiser is extremely low on funds, having not even reached £1000 of their end goal of £30,000. Every donation will go towards helping this family and every share spreads young Lina's message further.
