Just saying, the majority of people criticizing Jisung right now aren’t “cancelling him for stuff he said when he was 13,” we’re more so asking him to address it. Sure, he’s most likely changed, especially after becoming an idol and meeting people from all kinds of backgrounds, but that doesn’t mean his words from back then, even now, have no meaning or impact. We’ve all changed immensely since we were 13, but that doesn’t mean we should let this slide. Black and brown Stays, and kpop stans in general, are constantly put down by other people in the fandom whether intentionally or subconsciously (racial bias).

Please do not speak over or shut down the feelings of POC. Everyone’s feelings towards this situation are valid (mostly), and that includes the feelings of the people who you don’t agree with.

I’m not gonna speak on this anymore. I’ll continue to support Stray Kids as we patiently wait for any kind of response from Jisung or, more likely, JYPE.
