cohpunt, commonly called sea bands, are dark ribbon like plants with a single slit in the middle, this slit is where they expel their spores, they are very commonly found in large forests throughout equatorial oceans, it is believed that the reason it has a slit is to allow for more heat to escape them since even though they are dark and that their evolved to absorb the light from the dumunaon star for photosynthesis the heat from the equatorial oceans would overheat it if it was a single solid band [this is also believed to be the reason for the hollow centre of aquatic straws], they have a unique relationship with invisible fins, the invisible fins have evolved to have very small filaments covering their prehensile tail to help move spores from one cohpunt to another, this helps more sea bands to produce more of themselves which has helped produce more forests of sea bands, if you have any questions about this plant please dont be afraid to ask

pilcer, more commonly called a sucker bite, are small ray like hypocarnivorous omnivorous fish which eat primarily crustaceans and the caps of capped branches, they are the only ray without the venomous tail, it is vestigial and can be seen as a hollow piece of bone at the end of their tails, when feeding they will inhale and suction feed their food then cover their mouth with their flexible lips and start chewing them without letting any of them escape, during autumn they will go around taking caps and shrimp over to small burrows and then will spend the winter rarely leaving said burrow surviving mostly off of the stockpiled food, only leaving during late winter to collect more, back in the early days of dumuno, people would spend a week watching a lake during winter to see if winter will end soon, they decided that when a plicer left their burrow there was only a week left of winter, of course this was just a superstition, they are rarely found in rivers thriving primarily within the lakes of dumuno, they spend the winter slowly swimming around the interior of their burrow, if you have any questions about this organism please dont be afraid to ask

plaratis, more commonly referred too as an algae raft, are marine algae like purple plants, they have stems that instead of growing out of the ground to reach the surface with the algae, they grow it out of the algae and into the ground meaning they can have anywhere from a few to dozens of stems, they are very commonly all over the equatorial oceans of dumuno, rarely in or past the intertidal zone though, they make it look like theres a mossy field on the ocean, though if you tried to walk on it you would fall straight through, they also will fuse the roots of one of their stems with the other, if you have any questions please dont be afraid to ask

avetus, more commonly known as a flower drinker, are nectarivorous birdwhales, they use their specialized beak too detach the thin bubbles of material full of nectar off of sea flowers, they then will swallow it whole and the thin bubble will be digested very quickly then they will digest the very sugary nectar, they use the tall feathers on their heads for display purposes, the larger and brighter the feathers the more likely chance they get too mate, this display is very complex even within the dumunoan hermaphroditic display system, the height of the feathers decides who will lay the eggs and the brightness and vibrancy will decide if the mate is worthy of mating, shorter feathers meaning they lay the eggs, and duller feathers meaning they might not mate, if you have any questions about this birdwhale please dont be afraid to ask

solituaurium, more frequently called a desert lizard, are large desert dwelling carnivorous lizards, they prey on the sleeping animals in the desert, they will wander the desert in search of a sleeping animal and when they find one they will lay on it and force their venomous claws into them, preferably on the neck, when their prey is dead they will either bring it back to their burrow and eat it, or eat it there and fight off any potential competition or animals which would attack it afterwards, if they find a mate they will show off their green underbellies to their potential mate and whoever has a vibrant underbelly will not have to lay the eggs, when a desert lizard lays its eggs they will usually bury the eggs in their burrow and stockpile corpses for their children to eat when they hatch, they will watch over and take care of their hatchlings until they develop the signature green underbelly of this species then the desert lizard will teach them how to hunt and then watch them hunt, rinse and repeat until their children learn how to hunt properly, during this time the parent wont provide food for the hatchling so they will need to learn how to hunt, if you have any questions about this organism please dont be afraid to ask
