Jungkook is peacefully sleeping in his bed, and a smile grows on your face when your eyes lay on him.

Today, his band, the Devil Lovers, are on a day off. They’ve been touring quite a lot lately although their tour is about to end in a week, but they’ll barely have some time off before going back to the studio to record a new album. The band is literally at the peak of their career, and for sure, the management team isn’t going to let them disband or take longer breaks.

This is their moment. This is what they’ve been dreaming of for the past years.

Seeing them growing this much over the past year has been one of the best experiences in the world. When their first album came out five years ago, you were one of the few people to buy it. Their lead single, “The Lovers” appeared on Youtube as a suggestion. Curiosity took over you, making you listen to it. It was instant love at first sight.

But everything changed when you got to meet Jungkook a year ago through mutual friends. Watching their growth from afar as a fan is one thing but experiencing it beforehand is completely another level. Plus, you get to see and be friends with your bias, Jimin so this is for sure one of the best things that has ever happened to your life.

Being friends with benefits with Jungkook is magical, you won’t deny it. He’s a really dear friend of yours, and the sex is mind-blowing. For sure, he’s the best sex partner you’ve ever had. He knows exactly what he needs to do to have you screaming his name with delight.

For a little while, your eyes linger on his naked body while he sleeps. Today, he called you to spend some time with you. Although at first, it was just watching a movie and talking about the most random things, it quickly turned into ‘let’s fuck onto the couch, the table, and the bed’. However, Jungkook is extremely exhausted from all the touring so he just fell asleep right after he came on your asscheeks.

But you have to go. Your older sister, Nari, invited the family to eat at her place tonight. She has done that a lot since she got married to Sehun because she misses her family a lot. Since she moved out, you also have frequently visited her. You’ve spent the last twenty-four years together so even two years later, the separation is still painful.

“Jungkook,” you whisper as you run your fingers on his adorable face.

It breaks your heart when you have to leave him after spending such a great time with him. Even if you know you’ll see him tomorrow before, during, and after the show, it’s never the same as spending time at his place with only him.

“Mmmmm,” he mumbles.

You keep caressing his face with your fingers before whispering his nickname to see if he’ll wake up. Leaving him without informing him is something you’ll never do because you’re friends, not just sex friends. Jungkook will be dead worried if you do that.

As he hears you calling him ‘Kookie’, he slowly opens his eyes. “I need to go,” you inform him. “If you need anything, you can still text me.”

The vocalist only nods before falling asleep right after. A smile spreads across your face as you watch the cuteness of your friend displaying in front of you. With one last glance over him, you delicately leave his room. In the entrance hall of his massive apartment, you put your shoes on before completely leaving his place.  

Quickly, you walk over to the elevator to call it. Once inside, you grab your phone to text your sister.

yn: i’ll be there in 15 min

For sure, if your parents arrive before you, they’ll start worrying about you. Your parents completely ignore that you sleep with Jungkook, they know who he is and that you two are friends but you never told them you sleep with him.

Firstly because knowing them, they’ll try to convince you to marry him. Having sexual relations outside marriage is really inconceivable for them. Finally, they’ll be completely shocked to know that their daughter does sinful things like that. It’s simply better that they think Jungkook is just a friend.  

nari: okay, drive safely

Inside the metallic cabin, you close your eyes for a minute. Your mind instantly goes to the wild afternoon you had with Jungkook which makes you smile. His lips on your skin, his fingers caressing your ass, his mouth on your clit. You can still sense him all over you. Nobody can make you feel the way he does, your body is completely addicted to his.

When you leave the building, you take your phone to text him while you walk to your car. For sure, he won’t totally remember that you told him you were leaving so you just want to make sure he doesn’t get worried when he’ll wake up.

Once inside your car, you put your phone back in your bag and focus on driving to your sister’s place. For sure, tonight, your parents are going to make awkward allusions to your inexistent boyfriend, and you’ll have to tell them for the millionth time that you’re very much single.

The fact that at your age, your sister was already in a six years relationship and engaged doesn’t help you. Your parents are always unintentionally comparing the two of you. It is sometimes very hard for you. You love them, and you know it’s not made on purpose because all they want is for you to be happy. But sometimes it’s not really easy to deal with them.

While you drive, you only focus on the road, listening to some good music, and tapping on the steering wheel to the beat of the music. Nothing brings more peace to your soul than this moment. Driving is one of the things you love the most because it allows you to enjoy some time alone with yourself. When you’re driving, all your brain focuses on is the road. Nothing else. For a moment, you just disconnect from reality, and it’s a feeling that you deeply love.

Suddenly, a song from the band “Devil Lovers” blasts on the speakers of your car. A wide smile spreads across your face as the voice of Jungkook starts singing. The song is a pop-rock one called “Dionysus”, one of the many songs of the rock band you absolutely love. You start singing along, more than happy to hear it.

As you’re completely immersed in the songs passing on the radio, you don’t notice how quickly you arrive at your sister’s place. When you leave your car to enter the facility where your sister and her husband live, your phone buzzes, letting you know that you got a notification. Glancing down at it, the screen unlocks, and you see an incoming message from Jungkook.

jk 🔥: don’t worry about me babe, enjoy your time with your sister!

A smile spreads across your face before you put it on the back pocket of your jeans. After ringing the doorbell, your sister opens the door with a bright smile on her face. You greet her and your brother-in-law, Sehun.

Since Sehun has been around for quite a long time, you’ve become very close to him. Before he even proposed to your sister, you considered him as a big brother. The fraternal love you have is something you adore. This man has been around for so many years, and you know you can trust him with your entire soul. But if he makes your sister unhappy, you’ll be the first one to kick his ass.    

Thankfully your parents arrive right after you. When you see them, it always brings a huge smile to your face because you just adore them. They aren’t perfect but that’s exactly why you love them. You exist thanks to them, they cherished and loved you since the moment you joined the earthside, and they genuinely care about you. Your mom is able to call you up to six times a day just to be sure you’re okay.

For a little while, you all discuss together while eating some appetizers that your sister prepared. Even if she doesn’t say anything, you can sense how nervous she is. You perfectly know her, something is wrong today. But you don’t question her too much, she probably has her own little reasons, and you’ll have more chances to get something when you’re both alone.

Nari is standing still in front of everyone but she doesn’t feel comfortable, it’s a bit awkward. After some exchanged glances with Sehun and the couch, she decides that the best thing to do is to take a seat on the couch. Both your parents look at your sister with a bit of confusion, trying to understand what is happening while you patiently wait for her to finally start speaking.

Inevitably your heart starts pounding extremely fast, scared that she’s probably going to announce something devastating. But it’s something you brush away pretty fast since she hasn’t even started speaking.  

“I have a little announcement,” your sister finally says as her eyes glance over all the faces in front of her.

She doesn’t need to say anything more because you already know. The dinner, the family gathering, her nervousness. They all indicate that she’s going to announce being pregnant. Plus, it’s the natural announcement that comes after the marriage. She’s been married for two years, it’s no secret to you that she’s been trying to conceive a tiny little human.

“We are going to have a baby,” she finally breaks it through with a small smile appearing on her face. Her eyes go back to her husband who smiles with proudness.

Before you even process the news, you stand up and hug her as tight as possible. Your sister always desired to be a mother, to bring a little human being on earth, and to cover that small human with love. She always told you about her wish, and to know that today it’s all becoming true makes you incredibly happy.

She’ll be the best mother because she’s been the best big sister and second mother to you since you came into her life.

You’re sure of one thing, her baby will be as handsome as their favorite auntie. You. Good genes run in the family.

Your parents basically jump of happiness, covering Nari and Sehun with love. They’re more than happy to know that they’re going to become grandparents. Knowing them, they’re not going to let your sister and her husband breathe for the next upcoming months. But it’s such a joy to see them like that. There’s no doubt that they’re going to be amazing grandparents to the little bean that is growing inside your sister’s stomach.

Throughout the rest of the dinner, your eyes never ceased to glance at Nari. It looked like a massive weight had been taken off of her shoulders. She was more delighted and relaxed throughout the rest of the night.

“Now, we’re only missing Yn to follow in her sister’s footsteps,” your mother starts saying. “It’s about time you start building your own family.”

Although she said those words in a very neutral tone, they hurt you beyond comprehension. For the last months, your mother has been putting more and more pressure on you to find someone quickly because apparently, you’re starting to get too old for marriage.

At first, you didn’t blame her because you knew it was society who had built this whole concept of having children before thirty otherwise you’re too old. But right now, her pressure is literally suffocating you.

Everybody does their own thing at their own rhythm, that’s what you strongly believe. So, it really bothers you when your own family tells you otherwise, especially your parents.  

Since you don’t want to ruin this special moment for your sister, you don’t say anything. Today is about celebrating your sister and her new journey. It’s not about you getting mad at your parents because they think you’re starting to be too old for marriage and motherhood.

yn: can i join you at your place after dinner?

The anger that you’re keeping inside can’t stay because it will destroy you, and you’ll destroy everyone around you at the same time. But right now, all you want to think about is your sister’s happiness. Destroying her moment because of your issues isn’t for you the right thing to do.

But you’re literally boiling on the inside, ready to explode because this comment of your mother was just one too many. You really need to leave this house and evacuate all these bad emotions. Being around Jungkook and speaking with him will for sure help you, although you’re sure that the night will end up being very scorching.

jk 🔥: of course, babe!

As the dinner keeps going on, your mother keeps talking about how motherhood changed her life but honestly, you’re not in the mood for that. She really killed it when she brought the ‘it’s about time you start building your own family’. It was unnecessary, especially when it’s your sister you should be celebrating.

“I’m going,” you finally say, “I’ve things to do tomorrow morning, and I need to wake up early.”

This is a lie. Tomorrow morning, you have absolutely nothing to do since it’s saturday. Your plan was just to chill all morning, most probably cleaning your apartment before going to join Jungkook at the concert hall he’ll play for the usual sex to put him in a good mood.

Throughout the entire dinner, your sister felt how you were holding back. She knows it was because of your mother’s comment, and she constantly feels sorry for all the pressure she unintentionally causes on you. All she truly wants is for you to be happy.    

You say goodbye to everyone before leaving, Nari accompanies you to the door. “I’m so sorry about mom, Yn,” she says while putting her hand on your shoulder.

“Don’t worry about me, Nari” you tell her with a small smile on your face. “I’m truly happy for you and Sehun, you deserve everything you have.”

“I know you’ll always be happy for me,” she caresses your shoulder, “but I’m your big sister, I know mom’s comment hurt you.”

When you were kids, your parents used to work a lot, so Nari was the one who really took care of you. She was the one who loved you the most on this earth, and she’ll forever be the person you’ll love the most, no matter what happens in the future.

“Yeah, it did but I’ll be okay, Nana,” you use her nickname to try to reassure her. “I just need time to get over it.”

In a matter of days, it’ll just be something from the past but now, you just need to get away from here.

“Be careful, okay?” You ask her. “You have that little baby to take care of now.”

She hugs you tight in her arms. “I’ll take care of them as I did with you.”

There’s no doubt that this little baby will be the luckiest on earth. Having Nari as their mother will be a blessing, she’s the person with the biggest heart on earth. You kiss her on the cheek before leaving her place.      

Back to your car, you quickly drive to Jungkook’s. On your way to his place, even the music playing in the background can’t help you to calm down. You’re really mad at your mother for bringing that when it was all about celebrating Nari’s pregnancy. This time, it was just too much for you. Yes, you’re twenty-six. Yes, you’re still single. But you’re happy. You don’t need a man or kids to be happy. You can pull this happiness all by yourself, and damn, that’s the thing you’re the proudest about yourself.

Easily, you can find a place to park your car near Jungkook’s apartment. It surprises you a lot because usually at night, it’s hard to find a parking place. When you leave your car, you almost run to the building and ring the doorbell. After some long minutes, the door opens, making you quickly walk to the elevator to hit the fifth floor.

In this small but fancy apartment complex lives some of the wealthiest people in the country. Even after coming here regularly for the past year, it’s still weird to come knowing that. You’ve already met some of them which made you a bit uncomfortable. Of course, by respect, you greeted them but it felt odd.

When the elevator doors open on the fifth floor, you can see Jungkook’s entrance door open, him waiting for you. Unlike when you left him off earlier, he’s dressed in a t-shirt and baggy sweatpants. In all honesty, you wouldn’t mind having him completely naked at his entrance door.  

A smile spreads across your face as your hungry eyes glance up and down at him. Even with baggy clothes, he still looks hot as fuck.

“You were quick,” he says when you stand in front of him.

On your tiptoes, you press a kiss on his cheek. Unintentionally, Jungkook blushes at your action, you really caught him off guard but you see it. It’s one of the first times you see him blushing in front of you, and you can’t help but find him extremely adorable.

Although this little kiss caught him off guard, the main reason he started blushing was because of the dream he had earlier. In his dream, you weren’t just his friend with whom he fucks. You were his girlfriend. And it felt good to call you ‘his girlfriend’.

“This dinner became a nightmare really fast,” you tell him as you enter his massive apartment.

Jungkook closes the door before turning to look at you. Having you here makes him feel things inside his stomach that he rarely feels. But he brushes off the feeling away because he strongly believes that it’s his dick taking over his body ⏤ when he knows deep down that it’s not the truth.

“What happened?” He takes a step closer to you before you turn to face him.

His scent lingers in the air, and for a moment, you just want to close your eyes to savor it. But you don’t do it because you don’t want to scare him off. So you just get closer to him, your bodies very close to each other now.

“My sister is expecting her first child,” you start saying, your eyes looking up at him, “but again, my mother managed to bring up the fact that I’m still single.”

Jungkook notices how upset you seem, something he didn’t catch when he saw you leaving the elevator. His thumb runs over that little wrinkle in between your eyebrows to try to calm you down a bit.

“Congratulations to your sister!” He exclaims with a bright smile crossing his face.

“Thanks, Jungkook,” your eyes lock with his.

His thumb moves down to your cheek, his sweet movements relaxing you a lot.  

“Now, how can I help you to make you forget what your mother said?”

A smirk appears on your face, and you instantly understand where this is all going, but honestly, right now you’re not really in the mood for sex. For now, you just want to talk with him to just forget how much your mother’s words hurt you.  

As he sees that you’re not really enthusiastic about his allusion to sex, he understands that he probably needs to offer you something completely different as a good movie session with a couple of wine bottles. As his eyes roam your figure, he realizes that you’re really not in a good mood. This dinner didn’t go well at all, he can sense that.  

The vocalist grabs your hand while the other keeps caressing your cheek. You lean your head into his hand, your eyes fluttering close. You’re absolutely adoring how caring he’s being at the moment with you, and he’s simply enjoying being this close to you. This is definitely what you need at the moment, just to feel loved. Not necessarily romantically but just any kind of love, and Jungkook is just giving you the friendly love you crave. At least, that’s what you want to believe.  

“A movie and a bottle of wine?” Jungkook suggests before pressing a sweet kiss on your cheek.

It definitely sounds like a good plan, and you’re convinced that not having sex right now will definitely help you. Usually, when you get mad or angry, you just jump on Jungkook. It helps to feel better but afterward, you go back to being mad and angry. Plus, you just need some rest since you’ve already had a pretty wild afternoon with the man standing so close to you.

“Only if you promise you won’t fuck me,” you answer.

“Promised, babe,” his eyes look down at you, his lips pressing a sweet kiss on your forehead.

This sweet moment between you is just warming your heart in ways you can’t even describe. It feels marvelous to just be able to share these kinds of moments with him.

Jungkook rushes the two of you to the living room before he quickly moves to the kitchen to grab two glasses as well as a fresh bottle of white wine. While he’s in the kitchen, you take a seat on his black couch so you can easily take your shoes off.

“Since I have a show tomorrow night, I won’t drink much, babe,” he says as he joins you in the living room.

Your eyes glance at the man joining you in this beautiful living room. His shirt reveals a part of the tattoos on his arms but it also shows his toned biceps. All his working out sessions have been paying off. The baggy sweatpants don’t reveal much of his perfect legs, but you can perfectly picture them right under. Quickly, your eyes roam up to his handsome face. How can a man be this attractive?

The vocalist puts the glasses on the coffee table and pours wine in them. In one of the glasses, he doesn’t put too much wine and he fills the other one normally.

“I’ll drink for the both of us,” you answer him with a little smile on your face. “I really need it.”

“If you want to speak about what happened, I’m here to listen to you,” he suggests as he sits down on the couch next to you.

When he hands you the glass of wine, you start talking about all the things your mother said and how it was just too much for you this time. Jungkook just listens to you rumbling about how tired you are about this situation, his eyes never leaving yours.

But as your eyes lock with his, you realize that maybe your mother wasn’t that wrong after all. Jungkook is a close friend of yours with whom you enjoy some very heated and intense intimate moments, but you’re never going to be more than that.

Even if you consider you’re still young, one of your dearest dreams is to become a mother. Maybe it’s about time you try to look for an actual boyfriend with whom you’ll settle to eventually start building a little family.  

As you slowly wake up, you feel a warm presence behind you which is something totally new to you.

For the past two years, you’ve been living alone which means that you also sleep alone. Nobody is ever sleeping with you unless you’re doing some sleepovers with your friends. But for sure, you know it isn’t the case at all at the moment. Sohee, your best friend would have already yelled at you.

The bed beneath you doesn’t feel at all like yours, it’s a lot comfier. The bedsheets are softer than yours. The bed is also much bigger than yours. It basically feels like you’re sleeping at a fancy hotel, one you could never afford unless you’re with Jungkook.

This bed reminds you of the time you joined him in Tokyo for a weekend. They were giving two shows as well as some interviews. Since you never got to visit Japan, you went with the boys for the weekend. You visited parts of the city with Jungkook and some of the boys, and they showed you all the small spots they love about the city.  

Useless to say that it was also a torrid weekend for you and him. A lot of sex in his dressing room, hotel room, and even in some unconventional places.

Your eyes take in the light in which the room is immersed. This is not your room at all. This is Jungkook’s bedroom.

You turn around to see him. In this massive bed, it seems like he’s so far away from you as he isn’t close to you. There’s a distance between the two of you which makes you smile because you know that he purposely put that distance. He respects you way too much, and he wouldn’t do anything to make you feel uncomfortable.

The man behind you is still sleeping, you turn again before closing your eyes to remember what happened last night.  

After all the talking in the living room, he put “Enola Holmes” but you instantly fell asleep in his arms, your head against his chest. His heartbeat was the little melody that rocked you to sleep. This was a first-time thing for you, you usually make sure to never fall asleep in his place, you always leave before it happens.

But maybe, yesterday was just too much for you. Emotionally, it was more than draining. Plus, you spent most of the afternoon with his dick inside you. Your body was just too tired of the entire day.

You hear your mother’s words again, and your head remembers what you thought as you were speaking with Jungkook. Maybe it’s time to end whatever is going on between you two. But are you really willing to do it? Do you really want to end this?

Both of you snuggle together for a little while, just enjoying the closeness of your bodies together. Waking up with someone that isn’t Sohee, and with arms wrapped around you is something you never did much before. Maybe this will happen more frequently when you’ll find love.

Jungkook would be lying if he said he’s not enjoying this moment with you. This is something he’d love to repeat in the future although he knows this is a one-time thing. Friends doing this shit is definitely weird.

“Good morning, babe,” he whispers with his hoarse morning voice before pressing a sweet kiss on your neck.

Goosebumps rise all over your skin because this is a beautiful way to wake up. Damn, if he was your boyfriend, you wouldn’t mind waking up every day to this. But he’s just your closest friend. Nothing more.

Jungkook feels your shivers under his hand, a smirk growing on his face because it really feels like a victory to already manage to make you feel good this early in the morning.  

“Morning, Kook,” you whisper as you try to hold back a moan.

Naturally, your back arches, pushing your ass back to meet his crotch which makes him groan against your skin. Without any surprise, the man behind you is completely naked but you’re fully dressed. So you can only deduce that he brought you to bed yesterday night after you fell asleep in his arms.

Slowly, you open your eyes before your hand goes to his head, your fingers running through his hair.

A smile appears on your face at the mention of the promise he made to that little girl. You’ve already met Taehyung’s daughter a couple of times, she’s an absolute sweetheart, and it’s so obvious how much he loves her. Things aren’t easy at all for him but he always does everything to put her first. Thankfully, he has a girlfriend that helps him out when needed.

“It’s okay, Kook,” you say as you sit on the bed.

“I’ll just open the door to them, and then, I’ll prepare you a very good breakfast to make it up to you,” he quickly says while putting on his baggy pants and t-shirt.

Since Jungkook’s apartment is pretty massive, you can hear them talking but you don’t really understand what they are saying. However, you can tell by Ari’s voice intonation that she’s pretty excited to be here. As you close your eyes, you can imagine her beautiful smile. She has that same boxy smile as her father, and she’s just as adorable as him although you’re pretty convinced that she takes more after her mother than her father. But she owns the same golden heart as her father.  

After a little while, you leave the bed and you quickly glance at yourself in the massive mirror in the bedroom. You compose yourself to look presentable to both Taehyung and Ari before leaving the room to join them. When you enter the living room, all eyes turn to you.

Jungkook offers you a small smile, Taehyung frowns at you before glancing at his friend, and the little Ari is smiling as if her father just gave her a chocolate. As you notice Tae’s reaction, you understand that he’s quite surprised to see you here.

“Yn,” she says before coming in your direction.

You get down to be at the level of the four years old before pressing a sweet kiss on her plump cheek. She wraps her little hands around your neck, holding you so tightly in her arms. At that precise moment, her little body pressed against yours makes you think of the little baby that will soon join your family. Very soon, you’ll have a little nephew or niece that will squeeze you this tight in their frail arms.

For the past two days, you’ve been trying to tell Jungkook that you want to end everything but you never found the words nor the courage to say it. When you find yourself in situations like these, you tend to think irrationally. So, you’ve been acting weirdly for the past two days.

When you left his apartment saturday, you invented some shitty excuse to not go to the Devil Lovers’ show the same night. So, obviously, none of you had sex before and after his show. And yesterday, you pretended that your sister needed you at night to avoid going to their second show.

Jungkook isn’t stupid, and he clearly understood that something is going on. As your friend, he feels that there’s something wrong with you but since he respects you, he’s just giving you the space you need. But it’s clearly driving him crazy. The last two shows have been a complete disaster because his mind has been focused on nothing else but you.

The boys have noticed how he has not been in a good mood but none of them has been saying anything. They kind of suspect that it’s related to you because you’re Jungkook’s life outside the band but they don’t want to push his friend to speak to them, they want him to naturally talk about what is bothering him.

The youngest member of the band is sitting on a couch with his eyes glued to his phone.

Since you’re distracted looking down at your phone, you don’t notice the man coming in your direction. The man is looking around him, searching for something. The two of you bump into each other, your frail body being slightly thrown back. Your phone instantly falls onto the floor, and you try as much as possible to not fall. It’d be an awful way to start a monday.    

“I’m so sorry,” the man says as he catches your arm to help you balance yourself.

Thankfully, you don’t fall as the man puts all of his strength on his hand to help you out. Your first reflex is to grab your phone on the floor. Firstly, because you don’t want people to see that you’re texting the Jeon Jungkook. And secondly, because you’re scared that it might be broken.

Your heart still pounds fastly but as you grab your phone, you notice that everything is fine. Your phone seems completely good. A sigh of relief escapes your lips before you stand up in front of the man that hit you fiercely.

“Are you okay?” He asks with concern.

As your eyes slowly lay on the man in front of you, you slowly take in his beauty. His beauty seems out of this world. Never before have you ever seen a man so handsome. His dark hair is pushed back, exposing his forehead to everyone, and he’s wearing a black suit that makes him look majestic.

You’ve never seen anyone as pretty as him. Well, that’s what you think until Jungkook’s face crosses your mind. Jungkook’s beauty is really unique, especially when he’s not the rockstar. You always find him prettier behind closed doors, but he’s also very attractive when he’s on stage. Everything about him is attractive, you’re the first one to admit it.

But the man in front of you is really hot, you won’t deny it.

“Yes, yes, I’m fine,” you answer with a small smile. “I hope I didn’t hurt you too.”

He gives you a small smile too. “No, don’t worry about me,” his eyes glance around him again. “I’ve been trying to find my way in this massive building but I’m just lost.”

You still remember the first day you entered here, you got lost too. Thank god, you found a person who helped you out. This building is massive, a lot of companies are located here and there are elevators everywhere. If you don’t exactly know where you need to go to reach a certain company, you’ll be totally lost.  

“I totally understand,” you say, your smile growing on your face. “Where do you need to go?”

“I need to go to KG Corp, it’s my first day.”

Your eyes widen at his words. Kang Gyuri Corporation, known as KG Corp, is exactly where you’re working. So the man in front of you must be the new joiner, Choi Yeonjun. The one that is going to work with you.

“I work at KG Corp,” you tell him. “My name is Yn.”

“I’m Choi Yeonjun,” he greets you.

The new joiner is hot as hell. This is for sure going to be hard to work with someone that looks this good, he’s going to be a constant source of distraction for you, you know that for sure. Good-looking guys always distracted you but you never worked directly with them. So this is going to be something completely new to you.    

“Nice to meet you,” you say before you show him where the company is located in this massive building.

The two of you head to the office, and you try as much as possible to avoid looking at him. You don’t want him to think that you’re some kind of weirdo which as a matter of fact, you are, but scaring off the new joiner on his first day isn’t exactly a good idea.

As it was already planned long before you bumped into him, you spent the entire day explaining everything to him and making sure that he understands the basic things of KG Corp. You were so busy that you completely forgot the text of Jungkook. To your surprise, he didn’t send you any other messages. The man left you alone all day long because he knows how slow you can be to reply, however, this lack of answer has made him nervous.

During your lunch break, you scroll through your instagram feed, your ears listening to the conversation between your coworkers. Suddenly, a post of the Devil Lovers pops up, reminding you of the damn message. As you read it again, your hands get sweaty. You need to tell him the truth, ignoring him eternally isn’t an option. He’s before anything else one of your closest friends, and losing him for some silly thing would be stupid.

You put your phone down on the table before joining the very animated conversion between your coworkers. From time to time, you can’t help but notice that Yeonjun throws some innocent glances at you while he talks about himself to his new colleagues. To be completely honest, you’re flattered that such a handsome man keeps glancing at you.

In the last couple of hours, you’ve had the opportunity to discover a bit more of him. He seems very nice and polite, something you don’t find very often in men. Beyond his looks, he truly seems like a good person, and so far, you’re thankful that he’s your coworker. You’re sitting on your couch, watching a documentary that you chose some minutes ago to calm you but it clearly isn’t working. Your foot is nervously tapping on the floor, a huge knot is forming on your stomach, and your mind keeps thinking about this damn meeting with Jungkook.

The doorbell cut short all your worries. Jungkook is finally here.

Your heartbeat increases exponentially, your heart almost leaving your chest with the strength of his beats. You never thought you’d be this nervous to end this sex pact with him. When everything started, you thought that things would naturally end but it’s far from being the case.

When you open the door of your apartment, you see him walking towards you. He’s wearing a cap, hiding his hair and a part of his handsome face. After you let him in, you close the door behind you. Jungkook has been spending a lot of time in your apartment for the past year. You never imagined that he’d just bring the topic straight away. So you thickly swallow, nervousness reaching its peak inside your stomach. At this point, you feel like you’re about to pass out or throw up.  

“Did something happen to you? Did I say or do something wrong?”

Guilty takes over you as he raises those two questions but you shake your head to let him know that it isn’t the case. You pass a hand on your face as you try to gather the small courage left in you to finally tell him what’s going on.

“We need to end our sexual activities.”

Jungkook swears that he felt his heart break at that moment.
