I can read or look at someone else’s vore art and buy it. But whenever I write something myself I always end up doing a non-human pred and a human prey. It’s not just preference, I don’t think, I think there’s a level of suspension of disbelief there that I just can’t get over in my own work. To me humans just can’t swallow each other. I’m vague enough in a lot of my scenarios that if you wanted to imagine them as human/human you probably could. But I won’t lie in my head it’s usually monster/human when I’m imagining it.
