And then between episodes 5 and 10 you constantly see them near each other, even if they don't seem to be getting along. How Polnareff searched for a romantic relationship everywhere because he felt that's all he would be able to have. How they regularly teased each other for little things. How Polnareff thought he got one of his only friends killed because of his own selfish actions, after being told that he'd end up getting hurt. How he asked Avdol to take him to dinner if they got out alive. How Avdol agreed without hesitation. How Avdol knew saving Polnareff would lead to his death and he did it anyway. How he made Polnareff promise not to save him, but didn't hesitate to do it himself when it was Polnareff's life on the line. How Polnareff fought driven by anger over losing the first person to care about him in years. How he watched two of his only friends die within an hour of one another. How he didn't let fear overtake his want of revenge. How they never once gave up on each other no matter what they were up against.

Oh yeah and I think Jotaro and Kakyoin seem a little fruity, too.
