"you never pick up my calls. you don't want me the way i want you anymore. why?" he whispered softly, words were almost inaudible to the duo who had a sad look upon their face, heart breaking for their best friend.

dokyeom tried to snatch his phone, "mingyu, you need to stop. when will you stop?" he expressed his anger on his best friend, slightly reflecting on how hung up mingyu is on you while you did not bother picking up, at least, one call. "she does not want to do anything with you." dokyeom sighed.

mingyu glanced at him before looking down to his feet, "why . . does she not want to do anything with me? why did she not tell me? my god, why do i have to be this miserable?" he questioned himself, his friends and the call that kept ringing and ringing.

minghao grabbed onto his shoulder, giving a brotherly courage pat on the back. "her silence is already a closure to you and your relationship." minghao tried explaining yet the hollow feeling in his chest did not stop aching for mingyu.

the call went to voicemail once again, "i really want to forget you. i want to forget everything about you. your pretty smile." he paused, tears welling his eyes,

"your sad eyes, your tiny fingers, your soft skin, your warmth. you. i want to forget you. i cannot do this anymore." mingyu whispered in the voicemail, sobbing in between words.

minghao grabbed onto his friend who dozed off with phone, still pressed on his cheek. there was this silence in the room, nobody spoke a word.

" . . i did not know it was this bad." minghao broke the silence. dokyeom just nodded his head.

mingyu dreamt of you that night once again, he dreamt where you had been nothing but utmost happy with him. there were no sad eyes everytime he looked at you, there were no sigh every time he expressed his feelings to you and there were no hesitation with the love you expressed.
