Once upon a time, the Stars shone bright. Yet what of their demise?

The Stars all bright but one, always frowned upon.

Once upon a time, the Stars cried "Eternal Night". Where does the Dark One hide?

The Stars all frightened but the Delighted One.

The Great Ones fade to ash and dust. Yet the Dark One shines in dying light. 

Once upon a time, the Stars flickered light. Why did they hide?

Sketch

I made this sketch a while back for chapter 16 of Wayward Star- I can't quite remember if I drew this before or after writing the scene, but I believe I made the sketch after writing the chapter. Anyway, slight spoiler for chapter 16, art under the cut!

I absolutely messed up the sizes (since Avizandum is far, far bigger than this) and Aaravos also looks really weird (we are also not talking about Thunder's paws. They're weird-looking and I am absolutely aware), buuut... I found the sketch and thought "why not post it", so here we are!

I mostly drew Avizandum without reference and I think that was one of the many mistakes I made with this drawing-

apparently some thieves i am NOT calling them people because who with moral compass would do this shit? are copying, pasting and printing out popular fanfictions on AO3, binding them, turning them into actual books and selling them on places like Etsy WITHOUT crediting the original authors. which is why we can’t find some certain popular fics or authors on AO3
