I was disappointed to see that Gojo wasn’t in the halftime, but after thinking about it a bit, I honestly think it was for the best.
Usher has posted online in support of the Israeli government. He’s deleted the posts since then, but there’s still a definite chance that he’s anti-Palestine.
And honestly? It might sound selfish, but I don’t want one of my favorite characters being endorsed by someone pro-Israel. Even if it’s a big moment for the fandom, and even if it increases Gojo’s popularity, it would leave a gross feeling in my stomach, because I don’t want something I love to be associated with the oppression and genocide of millions.
