It doesn’t take Kim Namjoon much to generate a reaction out of people. All it involves is parchment, a quill, and a single idea that’ll consume him until late hours of the morning until his efforts are rewarded with a headline and a buzz around the castle. Unsurprisingly, it’s rather easy for Namjoon to create gossip. Maybe it’s because the structure of his words and paragraphs create a vague level of trust between himself and the readers. 

Or, maybe it’s because he’s head of the school newspaper who has put himself in the company of certain individuals like star sports player Jeon Jungkook and star academic student Park Jimin. Pair that with his natural charm in certain things like his words and his dimples and his smile—it creates a dangerous combination of presence that it seems only natural for Namjoon to claim a piece of reputation, especially reputation that only distributes itself amongst the spotlight.

For Namjoon, owning certain aspects of a conversation is power he knows how to wield. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t be running the Hogwarts Daily: a student lead newspaper that Namjoon took charge of at the start of his fifth year. Despite the name, the newspaper is actually a relatively small branch of the school meaning that it doesn’t require too many bodies to keep the line running. Now, most people would probably shy away from the idea of commanding an entire organization with little to no supervision or rules or general guidelines.
