Unrelated to kpop, my fam and I had a Johnny Depp marathon following his win against AH. Since we woke up around midday today (lmfao), we only had time to watch three movies:

Pirates of the Caribbean: The curse of the black pearl

Edward Scissorhands

Charlie and the Chocolate factory

Now, Edward Scissorhands. I knew abt the movie but I never actually watched it before.

I was practically crying at the end of it- Fuck damnit poor innocent thing!!! He was so pure and so adorable, I can't believe what people did to him. He literally meant no harm but everyone used him or treated him badly, I just can't stand how humans have become so evil.

My full respect to Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, I have that movie now classified as one of my favorites. And that character is now one of which I most love aside from Harley Quinn. TT

i just realized that one of the main things that differentiate childhood from adulthood is the awareness of time. as a child the world was practically in your little grasp. days felt like years and years felt like centuries, and there was only the setting sun to remind you that seconds were passing. adulthood is all about budgeting your time—you can’t ignore that the seconds are passing, because you could be seconds away from a deadline, job interview, etc. life is no longer about living in the moment, but about being conscious of how little time you have until you can’t live anymore
