Mashup of Pendulum’s Streamline (Hold your Color) and Watercolor (Immersion) that I made a long time ago, never posted, but remastered/fixed a bit. I think it’s my first mashup, haven’t really done anything like it before, but I’ve always thought some of Pendulum’s songs would sound super good put together.

Steel does a Moving

Note to self, but also anyone it applies to; if you ever plan to move out in the foreseeable future, whether its to be closer to a university or college, workplace, significant other, family, new area, or anything else.. here's some notes I've made since packing has been taking some time lately.

When it comes to looking for places to live, do plenty of research, read reviews and information on the area, and don't be afraid to take your time to pick a location that is just right for you and what you need. There is a wide variety of options out there for living quarters.

It's best to plan for moving in around the end of the month, because rent is monthly, so allocate time up until that point.

Do not pick a place that has nearby power lines, radio tower, airport, train station, busy street,  noise, or a place that looks like it might have potentially higher crime rate.Power lines and radio tower will cause unwanted electronic interference, headaches, or cause radiation-related health problems. Airport, train station, busy street, will have lots of noise or unwanted traffic.  Be safe and stay safe.

Make sure the actual living space is very close distance and accessible to what you're moving in for, like if for school, or work, make sure you are very close to it, even if you have a car or method of transportation- it will make your life MUCH easier.

Make sure the windows let in plenty of sunlight. It is good for your health. (Bonus if the window is facing east where the sun rises, especially in your bedroom- morning sunlight is the purest)

In general, try to throw away, donate, or recycle junk you don't need or use and make that a regular habit or it will be hell to sift through everything when packing.

Discard things that are no longer of use, such as casing for products you are certain you won't need to return. However, if you're dubious about a product you recently purchased, keep the casing and return ASAP with receipt.

If you're going to keep receipts, they are only going to be useful if the items can be reimbursed or if you're definitely sure you're going to return them.

Boxes are useful to keep around. You might need them later or just in general to store things.

Sometimes receipts will have coupons or discounts on the bottom, and the stubs might be worth clipping for yourself to store in a box if you return to the store frequently, but do it immediately after your trip to the store, otherwise toss 'em ASAP because they will build up fast.

The alternative is, if you wish to keep records of your purchase, regularly organizing them and filing them away in financial binders sorted by dates, daily would be good.

Saving things when you have space seems like the easy thing to do, but if you actually cannot see a purpose or function for them in the foreseeable future or you don't have time to consider whatever it is is on there, it may be better to toss it.

Get a paper shredder for discarding papers that contain more private information.

Toss/shred mail that you don't need. Keep sentimental/personal/valuable mail safe together in a separate box immediately after viewing it.

Donating furniture you do not want to take with you on your move, can be considered a tax write-off for the value of the item.

Donate or trade away clothes you don't want, or don't wear anymore to lighten the load, especially if you don't wear most of your closet. Clothes also build up over time, and you might have items that doesn't fit anymore.

Literally keep only what's most important or useful to you.

The Container Store, Lowes, and Uhaul have moving containers you can purchase to store items.

Movers /moving services and moving trucks (Uhaul) are hire-able (though separate) if you have a lot of stuff or don't want to do it all yourself, or don't have people willing to help.

I'm trying to pursue a more minimalist/organized lifestyle so this is just me writing shit that is on my mind.

Unsure if this is obvious information or not to most people, or whether its even applicable to most people. These are just notes I'm keeping in mind for the future since I've let a lot of things pile up during my solo apartment living during my stay during college. Couldn't make a regular habit of disposing things because I had a slight hoarder mentality "what if I need this later?" My life was hectic and I was still feeling my way around. So basically don't make the mistakes I made, lol.

What Truly Can Be Defined As Reality As We Know It?

What truly can be defined as reality as we know it?

Perceptions are different, from person to person, from species to species, from entity to entity, experienced so differently, so intricately, that it can never be replicated.

"I have to seek the truth.”

Fanart For Azran Legacy Because I Love Layton Series So Much, And I Havent Been Particularly Verbal About

Fanart for Azran legacy because I love Layton series so much, and I haven’t been particularly verbal about it. I recently got the game as a gift from Chase and finished it quickly. It isn’t my favorite title in the whole series due to the way they handled the plot, but I still enjoyed the game overall, the art style and music continues to be an inspiration. Also I love Detective Bloom, he was one of my favorites from Miracle Mask.
