And then Stiles gets kidnapped and none of the werewolves can pick up a scent, it’s like he vanished from thin air. Derek is losing his mind when he feels a tug on his pinky, and he swears he can see a red string floating from finger into the distance. He follows the string and finds Stiles. The string falls of his finger when he rescue a stiles but he ends up picking it up and puts it his wallet.

When they get married Derek ties the string around his wedding band. And Derek always make sure to buy stiles as much string as he wants.

I need to vent right now because my friends have me heated. We're rewatching Teen Wolf and the topic of favorite characters came up. Mine is Derek, not Stiles but he's a close second with Peter, and I said as much. And thus started the anti Derek rant because "the fire was all his fault" and "he should've known she was a hunter."

Derek Hale is originally meant to be 19 years old in season 1. Meaning he was originally 14 YEARS OLD when Kate preyed on him. How in the actual hell was it HIS fault? Even with his retconed age, putting him at 15-16 when his family was MURDERED, how can you blame a child for not knowing his much older girlfriend is a predator AND a hunter?

My group are all up in arms because I made the friend that said that crap cry. You wouldn't blame a 14-16 year old girl for something like that, you'd call her the victim as she is!

And don't get me started on how much Derek suffers and for no reason beyond the writers/producers hating him. She had the nerve to say Derek deserved to suffer because he's a selfish person? Selfish where!? Anger inducing!

And they took their pillows to the military too 😌

I love it in fanfics when Derek can hear stiles heartbeat from anywhere and uses it as an anchor. I also love it when Derek just thinks that stiles normal heart rate is faster than it is because everytime stiles is around him, it beats faster— and getting super concerned when he hears it slow down— and that’s what leads to a confession.

It’s just such a sweet concept. Like “I would know your heart anywhere”. Love to see it.
