As someone who first wanted Rainworld, then Hollow Knight and after that Worldless, I can confirm this. (And I Never played Rainworld, so I hope wanting to still counts)

I think it's incredibly funny that most Worldless fans I see are also Rain World and /or Hollow Knight fans.

So: Grimm first adopts Ghost, then he adopts the Hollow Knight (It just went like- You are my child now, come with me and your Sibling *takes Hollow Knight by the hand and takes him away to the tents in Dirtmouth*) And then Hornet tries to get the Hollow Knight out of there and just ends up also being adopted and finds herself at Tea time with the Grimm Child, Ghost and the Hollow Knight
