Cats ranked by the extravagance of their costumes

Munkustrap: one costume, but damn does my dad rock that costume. 5/10

Demeter: we love the gold, and she is a stunning goddess who I want to step on me please. 6/10

Bombalurina: again, one costume, but the red is just so beautiful, and it’s so badass. 6/10

Jemima: a baby, innocent and pure. she gets an extra point just because she has a spiky collar. 7/10

Pouncival and Tumblebrutus: I’m grouping them together because they’re chaotic brothers and nothing can change my mind about this. Like Jem, they’re both baby. 6/10

Victoria: one costume, but she stands out and she’s just obviously the focal point of the ball (go back to my post abt it being hers and Plato’s wedding ). 7/10

Plato/Macavity: my boy Plato is perfection, and I didn’t truly appreciate his beauty until @platothefluffbutt-rp opened my eyes. Since his actor doubles as Macavity and that dude’s costume is the personification of dramatic, he gets an in-between score. 8/10

Jennyanydots: my girl has THREE different costumes, and one is a shiny flapper outfit. 10/10

Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer: one has a crop top and the other has stockings and pearls. They are both chaotic and perfect. 9/10

The Rum Tum Tugger: my fabulous boy. He’s got fingerless gloves, a spiky collar, his little scarf around his leg, and that MANE. He’s dramatic and fabulous and he knows this and rocks it. 10/10

Mr. Mistoffelees: SPARKLY. RAINBOW. JACKET. He is TWO different people, and he rocks both Quaxo and Mistoffelees. My magical son knows how to accessorize, and he knows the importance of a quality outfit when showing off in front of the tribe. 11/10

Interviewer: So at what point during the make-up preparation, does the character start to evolve in your mind?

Michael: I think when I start lining I mean cause there’s a whole base sort of thing, but when the lines start to come in, there’s certain things like the nose or the mouth, the shaping of the mouth, that is when the felinity really starts to come in. I kind of, I try to really um, not to make it seem overly important but really I try to be very thoughtful about trying to make sort of a statement, with uh, and it be thoughtful about how I put my makeup on, and I enjoy it, it’s exciting to me, so I don’t mind spending 35 or 40 minute a day doing it, it’s fun.
