Jade takes his arm, walking by his side. She feels something brush against her back for a second and it makes her shudder momentarily. She was supposed to go to New York, but something tells her this isn't her New York.

"I was raised in Vermont. I didn't know my accent was that strong."

She glances around quickly, confused. She has many questions she wants to ask, but there are too many people around. "Okay. Guess I don't really have much of a choice currently."

"My name is Jade. It seems I might have gotten a little lost. Where am I?"

Jade lets out a sigh. "No. She was with me when I came back. We were too similar to one another in our coping mechanisms so we just weren't good for each other."

She paused her work to give DJ her full attention.

"That's terrible. I hope that where she is that she's okay. I know exactly what it's like to spend time with someone and then have them vanish without a trace."
