i received this anon & i just want to make a point. 

Jade had given DJ the coordinates of where her next hunt was going to be. She had sent them to him as a way to ease his mind a little in case he began to worry about her. Sending her location to him was also a good thing to do if she ever ended up in a worst case scenario, like she was currently.

She was late in coming back, several hours late. Everything had gone well at first during her hunt but Jade was currently trapped in an empty warehouse-like building, chained to a metal shelf.

All the other demons were dead, slowly turning into piles of ashes. One of the ones she had seriously wounded earlier had snuck up behind her and caught her off guard, which resulted in her hands being chained together above her head.

Her arms and shoulders hurt, her wrists red from struggling. She hopes that someone would come free her soon.

DJ had decided to enjoy the hot summery afternoon out on the deck that stretched out a bit over the water of the cove next to his house. He was lounging on a deck chair and looking at his phone wearing a light gray t-shirt and a pair of blue floral swim shorts.

Jade had said that she wanted to visit later once she had finished one of her hunts. He hadn't mentioned spending time out on the deck, but it was always an option.

His thumb tapped the screen again to look at her message once more...

Hours would pass by without Jade having another nightmare. The only indication of her dreams not being peaceful was the furrowing of her eyebrows and the twitching on her eyelids. A series of disturbing images would rapidly flash through her mind, lingering just long enough to make her uncomfortable.
