She wasn't expecting to be hugged so she's surprised but she hugs him back.

Jade stays where she is, her eyes closed until he comes back.

She takes two pills and stays still while he begins to clean the blood. She hisses when the cloth runs over a deeper cut.

DJ had decided to enjoy the hot summery afternoon out on the deck that stretched out a bit over the water of the cove next to his house. He was lounging on a deck chair and looking at his phone wearing a light gray t-shirt and a pair of blue floral swim shorts.

Jade had said that she wanted to visit later once she had finished one of her hunts. He hadn't mentioned spending time out on the deck, but it was always an option.
