Jade had just been on the phone with her boyfriend, well, boyfriends' actually. Despite having been with Derrik for a decent amount of time now he still struggles to talk to her on the phone sometimes. She missed both of them and was looking forward to seeing them again as soon as she was done working in this city.

So seeing one of her boyfriends' is a bit of a shock at first.

"Obviously, you aren't actually my boyfriend. I was literally just on the phone with him. What the fuck do you want?!"

The form standing before her isn't Envy - at least it doesn't look like it aside from the wide grin that spread across it's face. The form it took, at the moment, was a tall blonde man with long blonde hair tossed over his shoulder. His eyes were obscured behind sharp sunglasses, but the mania behind them was clear. He was enjoying the horrified anger on her face.

" What's wrong darlin', seen a ghost? " It spoke in the man's voice, and leaned forward.

Suddenly, her fist connects with it's face, and the form rippled away for a moment - revealing the creature beneath the facade for a split moment.

The homunculus reconstructed the disguise, voice now its own.

" Not afraid to hit your own boyfriend, huh?? "

“You’re safe. It’s okay, I promise you, you’re safe. You need to stop fighting them.”

“I’m sorry, I know, I’m trying to help you. I want to help you, you’re hurt, I’m - god, I’m sorry, please go back to sleep.”

[TALK] - for receiver’s muse to be talking in their sleep.

[AWAKE] - for our muses to be lying awake together, neither one of them able to get (back?) to sleep.

[JOLT] -  for receiver’s muse to jolt awake after a nightmare, possibly being held/talked to by sender’s muse.

[HURT] -  for receiver’s muse to be half-conscious after an injury, and not able to keep their nightmares separate from reality.

[SOOTHE] - for sender to comfort receiver’s muse while they’re having a nightmare, trying to keep receiver asleep.

[TUCK] - for sender to find receiver’s muse asleep somewhere and tuck them in with a blanket (or jacket, etc)

[QUESTION] -  for sender’s muse to check whether receiver’s muse is Okay, in the morning after a nightmare, in a wordless way (touching their arm, etc)

[PLEASE] for receiver’s muse to ask sender’s muse for comfort after a nightmare, or for company staying up so they don’t have a nightmare.

She smiles. "I wish you the best of luck!!"

“Forgive me, but you seem new around here… am I right?”

"Who. Little old me. Then yes i am new here!"

Jade follows him into the bathroom. As he goes through the first aid kit she takes a knife out of her pocket so she can cut the rest of her flannel sleeve away from the wound.

She holds her arms over the sink. "It's not as bad as I thought it was. I've definitely had worse."

"Hey, wait a minute, you're hurt... How long have you been hiding this?!"

"It's... it's not that bad. It's just a scratch." Jade had been favoring one of her arms for about five to ten minutes now, keeping her injured one close to her side.
