Storytime part ii. So! I'm a female, and all my friends are guys. We're the we-don't-fit-in-with-other-people so we are the mismash of the weirdest people with the most random interests.

I take Econs and none of my dude-friends do. I had a test that day and forgot to bring a pen to school (I only have the most basic stationary in my bag) so before my Econs period rolled around I burst into the corridor (Where my friends were getting their things for their elective class from their lockers) and I was like GUYS I NEED A PEN QUICK HELP

So friend no. 1 was like "Here's a pen" (proceeds to dig out a pen from his pencil box). Then, after some thought, he says: "That one might not have ink. Here's another one." And he says the same thing for the second pen, and ends up giving me three pens.

So at this point I'm like, okay you know what, I'll just ask friend no. 2.

And friend no. 2 proceeds to hand me a pen from his pencil box, then hesitates. "I dunno if that has ink," and then gives me two more.

So at this point I was standing in front of my classroom, with six pens in my hand. And I said "I don't need this many!"

To which they respond "We don't know which one has ink."

And then after some more thought, friend no. 2 hands me a pencil. "Just in case none of them have ink." He explains.

Only one pen out of six actually ended up having ink.
