“Hey y/n, let’s compare hand sizes!” Gojo says as he grabs your own hands, and presses it flat against his own. You giggle as you do so, making the man grin in victory.

“Oh my! Your hands are so cold y/n, here, let me warm them up for you” he offers leaving no room for conversation, adoringly staring into each other’s eyes, as he covers your hands with his own larger ones.

“You’re very kind Mr Gojo! I’m so lucky Yuuji has you as his teacher” you sigh dreamily.

“Aha what can I say? I love taking care and nurturing children!” He lies through his teeth, making Megumi choke and Yuuji bite his hand to stop his laugh. After all, homeboy got a side salary from letting Gojo simp for you 😭

So this kind of implies that even though the Heian period was known as being so violent, domain expansions like Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine were actually quite rare. I guess “softer” domain expensions are able to drag out the fight more and if more people are able to use it, it creates more chaos.

This makes me wish all the more for a Heian period flashback arc kind of like the Hidden Inventory Arc.

Just seeing what fights back then looked like, how Jujutsu society was organized, how the 3 (2 by now) big clans formed. Also just some more backstory on the older characters. How did Sukuna and Uraume meet, how did Sukuna get defeated, what was Kenjaku like back then, what made them so obsessed with pushing human evolution, the binding vows being formed back then etc.

Crazy idea but ya know three things to consider:

the samurai only protected the wealthy Land-owners

the rich focused and being rich and beauty of art during heain period.

no one really cared about the commoners. (They paraded the beheaded head of the commoners, sacrificing was a practice, and it was easy to die when they lacked basic needs tbh.)

What if the jujutsu sorcerers also prioritized the rich while the commoners were left to die? Sukuna, though being a sorcerer himself, hated sorcerers. Was he a commoner? Did he dislike the jujutsu system?

WHO KILLED A CURSE USER WITHOUT USING CURSED ENERGY TO KILL THEM? HOW DID HE BECOME THE KING OF CURSES?

Nothing just..

-Sukuna who has been alone for so long that he starts to miss the idea of being with a partner

-Sukuna who has to watch as Yuujis adorable friend hugs up on him

-Sukuna who hears your laugh and starts to crave hearing it- wondering what that funny tingly feeling is in his gut you can’t tell me he doesn’t punch his stomach the first time he gets butterflies

-Sukuna who’s been alone for so long that he plays off this new lonely feeling as his libido because he refuses to accept this

-Sukuna who savors every moment you hug yuuji and jump all over him and pretends it’s him

Not like he likes it or anything!

-Sukuna who notices every little thing you do, and knows what all your nervous tweaks and habits are, things that no one else cares to see- and chalks it up to just being bored

-Sukuna who finally one day snaps and takes control over Yuuji just to feel you fully instead of from behind someone else’s eyes

-You who embraces it when it happens
