the beginning of freshman year, reserved at first glance but under your shell is a bright girl with a carefree attitude.

your phone screen lit up, with now playing : 寂寞号登机口 on your lockscreen, catching your attention slightly before going back to get your desk ready for class before it starts.

as your doing that another distraction comes along, a big hand is waved infront of your face. adjusting your headphones and eyes now on him or more specifically into his own pair of simple brown eyes, with body language suggesting him to talk he does, “can i sit here?”

given as your eyes skim around the room and somehow there isnt another spot left for him your only answer was, “sure” short, simple, nonchalant sure.

“wen junhui” he says hurriedly as he prepares his own desk with less time given as you did already prepped by now, “yn ln”

new day, same classroom, the same classmate goes, “yn ln”

“wen junhui?” confused on why he said your full name. but he never responds, with a smile on his face as he gets his stuff out for class.

weird.

a week passes by and everyday this happens

soon after you meet his friends at homecoming, thankful for the friend that invited you to come with them and them ditching you not long after the event started.

hoshi already unstable with slurred speech as if the fruit punch was mixed with alcohol. the outgoing bunch of the 13 boys would have you in a panic if not for jun by your side to reassure you about them and how to handle it.

the disco lights enhanced the way mingyu swayed his limbs as light a flame started playing, suengkwans singing along to very nice with beautiful vocals, and the way jun stared at you with those simple brown eyes as you caught him staring as you two took a break from the group and sat down with a plate of snacks the school provided.

the same brown eyes lit up as moonwalker plays on the speaker, grabbing your wrist with loose grip and letting go as soon as both of you had arrived to the dance floor, only to be pushed into a mosh pit.

a number of people surrounding him yet he smiles all gummy and wide while looking into your eyes as if you were the only person in the whole wide world.

seeing jun before class is a rare sight, yet you find him below a cherry blossom trea, all of his attention on you can only assume a peotry book.

“hey jun!” with a smile on your lips.

jun replies back with a casual, “hi yn!”

the sight of jun floods your mind with your moments with him that occupied your mind most, “im sure we are friends at this point so i wanted to ask..” and now infront of the boy now standing up.

“ask away” as he matches your smile.

“every morning in class you always say my name. why is that?”

the first time you catch his cheeks pink and pretty as he everted his eyes to the blossoms that no longer sit on the tree branches but the grass instead.

jun confessing, “i like how you say my name..”

lowkey when you go out to have dinner with all the boys and some of your girlys; the only open spot for you being by wonwoo. bumping hands together under the table and eventually intertwining them while he rubs circles on your skin. looking at his perfect side profile when he smiled as he scrunches his nose and that sexy breathy laugh puffs from his lips.

lowkey when he sees your thighs rub together with the corner of his eyes and slowly leans down into your ear to whisper,“wait a little longer angel” only leaving you whiney and a smirk growing on his face “wonwoo-ah?” dino asks about his expression jus with that. playing it off,“did you not hear dokyeom?” chuckling while grabbing his glass and sipping his alcohol.

lowkey when you excuse yourself from the table to use the restroom and he goes out for a smoke really only to meet you outside; barely out of the others view when your lips smash together in a heated kiss, his hands on your waist and the back of your neck and somehow now pinned on a nearby wall, “i missed you so fucking much” he mumbles into the kiss. his knee manages to occupy space between your thighs in hopes to relieve you just a little, “m’ too wu” too deep in the moment to express how bad you need him in detail; in the end it leaves you breathless and a string of mixed saliva connecting the two of you.

lowkey when dino gets suspicious of the two of you and yells claims hes going to check up you guys with his cheeks all red from all the alcohol but wonwoo already is offering you a smoke while on his inbetween his lips grabbing his beloved chrome lighter. grabbing your own lighter to only realize it was in your purse,,, inside the restaurant. “here” and getting yours going with his already lit one. “m’ thank you wu”

lowkey when everyone starts leaving including you, when something shiny catches your eye, the ring on wonwoos ring finger leading to you looking at your bare ones.

tsundere scoups, cold and rude to everyone but, “jus bc i dont like people doesnt mean im a dick” is the explaination he gives you everytime when he gives you a straberry milk bc he bought an extra or always has a hair tie when you need it, “thanks scoups!” giving him a genuine smile jus to recieve a “whatever” and he quickly turns the other way bc he doesnt want you to see him flustered.

basketball player mingyu, “this ones for you yn!” it doesnt matter if he makes the shot or not he’ll always follow up with a chessy/cliché pick up line and a wink your way and when you guys start dating hell rush up to you no matter where you are puppy eyed asking for a kiss after every shot he makes during practice,, but be prepared for the big game coming up..

tutor wonu pointing out the parts of the math problem you messed up, always reassuring you when you make a mistake,”its okay, next time…” only when you guys get closer is when he gets more teasing about the same mistakes, getting dangerously close at times when you needed more “assistance” whispering in your ear advice like it was pillow talk, tucking your hair for you couldnt be less than sensual with a certain look in his eyes that made a little too curious on his next move

How is Korea’s weather right now? I don’t know well but it seems as though there will be quite a cool breeze blowing in the evening.

When you go from season to season they call it the turning seasons, you know. I feel as though I’ve been stuck in that change of seasons for a long period of time.

There are days where your eyes and nose get hot inexplicably, even in moments that seem like nothing, and there are also days where your lips tremble and shake.

When I get asked if I’m okay, I still hesitate to answer. Even so, I’m still trying to send off a small part of the things I’m feeling along with the flow of the wind.

It’s the first time I’ve done a cover song since i debuted.

I’m working hard to be a cool singer and a reliable son, but it’s still very difficult and sad. While listening to this song, it reminded me of myself during my childhood. That’s why I chose this song. It would be nice if I could touch even just your fingers tips again…

Even so, I just hope that I/this song can become (a) comfort for carats. For me as well, using this song, i want to meet you in my dreams even if it’s just for today. Mom, please say hello to me for at least the moment that I start to fall asleep.

I’ve poured all of my sadness in today’s period/end.
