so ik you’re from canada but i would just like to say that the us healthcare system is completely useless. they just tried to make my broke college student ass pay $500 for 1 month of birth control like ?? guess i’m not getting laid any time soon and i’ll just have to let my hormones get all screwy 🤷‍♀️ -that’s just the tip of the icebErg okay like my mom’s immunocompromised n they still won’t pay for her medicine in conclusion, i am more than ready to become a european socialist like let’s go

That’s horrible, I’m sorry that your healthcare is BUNK! You think healthcare should be a right. Waiting times here are unreal sometimes, but I am very grateful for the service here in Canada. I don’t know if it’s really expensive there, but an IUD lasts from 5-10 years depending on type and that really saves money on birth control and you can choose to get hormonal or non-hormonal. The initial cost might be steep (it’s like $200 here without insurance) and then you don’t have to go to the doctor every month for them to charge you an arm and a leg because god forbid you want to be sexually active and/or need the hormones. I’m really sorry that they’re charging your mom for super important meds. It’s unreal. I’m sending you those sweet socialist vibes, pal✌🏻
