I’m writing this while going back home.

I got off work early because everything went smoothly today, just like flowing water. That’s right, there would be days like this and days like that. There are times when words linger around me but come to me so quickly.. and I wonder if that’s okay. I’m living life with gratitude and joy.

Now that I’m in my mid-20s, I often think about what I can do while completely being myself. I believe that I’m working hard towards something bright while still keeping my feet dipped in reality.

Even though I live everyday in an awkward state that is neither crying nor laughing, just somewhere in between, I believe that I am able to live while holding on to things I can grab at the moment and feeling those things with my whole heart. My pace is neither too slow nor too fast, I am walking back and forth at the perfect pace for myself.

Whenever I think about why I am standing here right now, there are milestones that turn me back to my timing. It’s been a long time, but I listened to songs from Epik High today. Surprisingly tho, the songs still had the exact scent and emotions as they did when I first listened to them. But some songs feels like they’re pretending to appear in some places in my life and it feels something from The Little Prince or Alice in Alice in Wonderland.

I’m thinking about how one day, I want to be a milestone for someone else, or even better, for myself. Today too, I pick up lost words in the air and turn them into melodies which I can leave in someone else’s mind. For a long time, I wish that we could remain as meaningful gestures to each other.
