i thought it'd be interesting to have roleswap ratio and merven ratio to have their gay realizations in similar ways but take them in very different directions

Which Genshin characters would you want to see switch over to a different element?

Either from a gameplay perspective (their same playstyle but with a different element) or a story perspective (they go through character development that warrants a new vision)?

Easily Scaramouche. As much as I love the freedom he gains from moving forward from his past, I do think there is a certain point where Never returning to Inazuma to speak to both Ei and Kazuha starts teetering back to running away instead of moving forward.

I’m not sure on the specifics but I would love for there to be a situation that gets all three of them caught up in the trouble so some conversations can happen; as well as forcing Scaramouche to wield both a sword and the power of electro. He already knows the Kaedehara swordplay style. I think it would be a good representation of him accepting all of himself; past, present, and future.

It could even get more symbolic with his vision being the one from Kazuha’s friend and it’s reawakening personally coming from Ei seeing his ambition and wanting to give him her full support in his decision. Scaramouche can literally represent the one who dared brave the lightning’s glow.

As for his name in game, it would be the perfect opportunity to learn the actual name Ei had for him. I personally would hope it’s Fujin or Raijin which would make sense considering since he is a being that knows how to control anemo and electro, he is quite literally a storm bringer.

Scaramouche is also a character that I think even on a in universe level, people could comprehend that it would be entirely possible for someone of his background to be able to channel multiple elements. Wanderer gained the power of anemo for himself, but it never changed the fact he was made with electro in mind. It’s his mother’s entire thing.
