SHAY OH MY GODDD THIS IS SO CUTE HAHA Im So In Love With The Way Reader Has An Obsession With Peanuts

SHAY OH MY GODDD THIS IS SO CUTE HAHA im so in love with the way reader has an obsession with Peanuts 😭😭 and how he bought the books because she likes them 🥹🫶 I would be such a stuttering hot mess reading in front of james!!!

What about the reader volunteering in James’s class during story time or something! And James is just so flustered having her there and he’s supposed to be getting his own work done while she reads but he can’t stop watching her?

thank you for the request!! 🤎 i realized after i wrote this part that i unintentionally made reader kinda obsessed with Peanuts and her son is named Charlie 💀 but i think it’s kinda cute!!

part one part two part three

Teacher!James Potter x Single Mom!Reader 💌 1.4k words

♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡ ~ ♡

A few weeks had passed since you’d run into James at the diner. You’d exchanged a few words occasionally on days when you’d picked Charlie up from school, but work had kept both of you plenty busy. You had run into Lily at the nearby coffee shop a few times, though, and the two of you had really hit it off. You were pleased to have made a friend, even if she was connected to James, too.

Charlie had come home one afternoon with a parent volunteer request from James. He was looking for someone to do afternoon story time while he got some lesson prep done (“I try my best to stay on top of things, but sometimes your cute kiddos eat up all of my free time!” he’d joked on the letter), and there were a few times available in the following weeks. You were pleased to see that one slot fell on an afternoon you had off, and you had signed the form and sent it back with Charlie the next day, much to his delight. That same morning, James had sent you an email thanking you profusely for signing up and expressing his excitement to be able to see you for longer than a few minutes. The sentiment plagued your thoughts for days.

On the day you had signed up to volunteer, you rushed home from work, shaking your hair out of its ponytail in a way that you hoped looked effortless and changing into your favorite worn-in Snoopy tee. You arrived a few minutes earlier than you needed to, stopping in the front office to sign in and making your way to James’ classroom while the students were at recess.

When you entered the classroom, James was moving some desks back into the corner of the room and out of the way. He’d rolled out a large blue rug bordered with alphabet letters out by the window- a kindergarten staple, you thought with a smile- and there was a pile of pillows stacked in the corner. You could hear the kids outside laughing through the open window. You knocked lightly on the open door frame, and James looked up at the sound, flashing you his familiar, easy grin.

“Perfect timing,” he said as he pushed a desk into the corner with an effortless shove. “I was just thinking I could use an extra set of hands.”

You smiled, walking further into the classroom and taking in the cheerful decor. It had been decorated in colorful posters and twinkling fairy lights, and James had hung some suncatchers in front of the windows so small, twinkling rainbows reflected throughout the room. As James approached you, you shifted your focus back to him, and he gestured towards the cozy reading corner with a nod.

“What’s on the agenda today?” You asked, following him over to the rug and taking a pillow from his hands, setting it down to form a small semicircle around a surprisingly comfortable looking armchair that was placed against the wall. “Clifford? Curious George?”

James gave you another pillow with a mischievous smile. “I actually just ordered a few new books for the classroom that I thought you’d enjoy,” he said. “Here, come take over and I’ll grab them for you.”

You walked over to the corner of pillows, eyeing James curiously as you arranged them on the floor carefully. He rummaged through a drawer in his desk before procuring a small stack of books with a proud smile. You were placing the last pillow when he approached you, handing you the stack of books with a proud smile.

The first book you saw made you do a double take- a smile spread across your face as you looked up at James, your heart fluttering.

“Charlie Brown? Are these all…?” You flipped through the stack of books, and as you had predicted, he had purchased a selection of Peanuts books for you to read. You laughed in surprise.

“Do you buy every volunteer their favorite books?” You teased, meeting James’s gaze with a grin that you couldn’t hide.

“Just the pretty ones,” James replied with a grin just as wide. You laughed again- this was the first time he’d openly flirted with you, and you felt pleased. James walked back over towards his desk, and you followed, stopping at a distance that was a little too close to just be friendly.

“Careful, Mr. James,” you said, glancing him up and down. He stood a little taller as he watched your gaze, his eyes twinkling. “We’re in a classroom. Might want to save the charm for after school hours.”

He chuckled softly, his gaze lingering on yours. You could practically feel your heartbeat in your throat. “I didn’t realize my charm was working so well it had to be saved for after school. You’re kind of boosting my ego here,” he said. He looked smug, and you thought it was stupid that you found it so attractive.

“In fact, if I didn’t know better, I’d say you came in here early just to see me,” he continued, resting his hands back against his desk as he leaned back, his height almost matching yours.

“I’m here for Charlie,” you shot back, but the playful smirk on your face betrayed you.

“Uh-huh,” James said, clearly not convinced. “If you say so. But just so you know, I’m flattered. Even if you’re pretending it’s about him.”

Before you could respond, the sound of children’s laughter and footsteps echoed down the hallway. James straightened up, though his eyes were on you in a way that made you feel suddenly shy. “Looks like the cavalry’s arrived. Saved by the bell?”

You laughed softly, shaking your head. “Lucky me.”

The students filled the classroom, and Charlie made a beeline for you, clinging to your leg excitedly as James called all of the students over to the reading corner the two of you had set up.

“Alright, everyone, gather around!” James said, clapping his hands to capture the childrens’ attention. “We’ve got a very special guest reading to us today!”

The kids quickly gathered around as you took a seat in the armchair, chattering excitedly as they plopped down on the pillows. Charlie chose the pillow right in front of you, beaming proudly as James introduced you.

“Settle down, settle down!” James chuckled, waving a hand to quiet his students. Once they were all seated, he looked over at you with a wink. “Alright, Charlie’s mum, take it away.”

You hesitated for a moment, suddenly aware of a dozen pairs of tiny eyes on you, but the encouraging smile on James’ face made it easy to relax. You picked up the first Charlie Brown book from the pile, flipping to the first page as the kids leaned in, their attention immediately captured.

As you started reading, you could feel James watching you. Not in the same way the kids were watching- there was something different in his gaze. Every so often, when you paused to show an illustration or ask a question, you’d catch him out of the corner of your eye, leaning back in his chair with his eyes focused on you, a soft smile playing on his lips.

You read until the bell rang for school to end. The kids leapt to their feet, laughing and running around the classroom as they gathered their things to go home. Charlie gave you a big hug as he got up, exclaiming loudly to the class that his mummy was the best storyteller in the world. James herded students out to the pickup area, where the aids were waiting with the kids for their parents.

You lingered by James’s desk as Charlie packed up his things, aware of him moving to stand next to you without needing to glance his way.

“You know, you have a very captivating reading voice. You should come read to the class more often,” James said, his voice low and teasing. You turned your head ever so slightly to look at him, raising an eyebrow as you smirked.

“Are you sure it’s my reading voice that caught your attention?” you teased.

James leaned in a little closer, his voice just above a whisper. “It might’ve been the reader, actually.”

i love this omg girl your writing is so 😭😭😭🫶🫶!! in love with hotch now pls i need a protective guy like that

pairing: aaron hotchner x fem!reader genre: established relationship warnings: mentions of assault, tiny bar fight, mentions of alcohol consumption a/n: i wasn't really sure how much i liked this, but i hope you guys do! i wanted to post something because i won't be online much for finals :( wc: 1.16k

Pairing: Aaron Hotchner X Fem!readergenre: Established Relationshipwarnings: Mentions Of Assault, Tiny

You meant it when you offered to get the drinks for the table. You offer to do the first round: four rum and cokes, whiskey (neat, because Aaron would rather get his money’s worth) and whatever bright pink concoction Penelope ordered written neatly in purple glittery gel pen on an old receipt. Rossi’s glass of wine that he ordered costs double the entire order, and Spencer orders an Arnold Palmer.

“Did you want to start a tab?” The bartender asks kindly, her pretty green eyes framed by dark brown hair clipped by a barrette.

“Oh! Um, sure.” You smile, gesturing to the booth where the rest of the team were sitting at. “You can put it down for that table.”

She nods, tapping a few buttons on her POS system before looking back up at you. “There’s already a card for that table. Under… Aaron Hotchner?”

Your brows lift in surprise at her words, a laugh of disbelief leaving your lips. “Of course he did. That’s fine, thank you.”

You return carrying a tray of far too many drinks, setting them down with a soft sigh of relief. Everyone takes their respective drinks while Aaron pulls you into his side, his thigh pressing against yours as he lets his lips linger on the side of your head.

“Thank you for that,” he murmurs lowly into your ear, squeezing at the flesh of your waist. His other hand swirls his whisky around the glass. “Did you carry them alright?”

“Mm. I’ll have to go back to get Penny’s drink. The lady at the bar said it’ll be in a couple minutes or so because the order was so specific.” You’re smiling at him despite your original annoyance. “I meant it when I said that I would treat everyone to the first round of drinks.”

“I meant it when I said that I would take care of you,” he responds simply. “The drinks they ordered was more than just a pretty penny.”

From the corner of your eye you spot the bartender waving you over, and you laugh before  pressing a soft kiss against Aaron’s face. “I’ll be right back, handsome.”

You really did mean it when you said that you would be right back. With a napkin wrapped around the cocktail glass, you turn around to make your way back to the table when a voice catches your attention.

“Pretty drink for a pretty girl,” the man comments, and it takes a second for it to register in your mind.

“Oh. Thank you, it’s for my friend and she is really pretty.” You smile politely. Wrong move.

“Not as pretty as you, I’m sure,” he continues, his eyes gleaming in your direction. You don’t really appreciate the way he thinks that his words are a proper compliment. “Let me buy you a drink, sweetheart. The name’s Colby.”

“That’s alright, I really do need to get back to my group.” You take a hesitant step away but he takes another step forward.

This is dangerous, how close this stranger is. Anxiety wells in your throat and your stomach drops with nerves.

“Just one drink,” Colby insists, inching closer. “C’mon, sweetheart, don’t be such a stick in the mud.”

“I don’t need one,” you say, searching for  your voice. “Excuse me…”

Colby scowls, taking a step forward as he tries to prevent your escape. His fingers graze against your side dangerously close to the waistband of your pants and you can’t help but jolt, the glass slipping from your grasp and shattering against the cold tile of the bar floor. Your heart plummets to your stomach as the man grunts in frustration.

“Look at what you did,” he snaps, shaking the drink off his hands. His eyes are dangerous as he glares at you, his hand lunching up and out, aiming directly for your arm. “You little–”

“That is enough.”

You almost cry out in relief when you see Aaron step in front of you, effectively shielding you away from the assault. He’s big and tall, and though you do not see him upset very often, it is even rarer for you to see him angry and mean.

Aaron stretches to his full height, his eyes narrowed and his gaze dark. He stares down this man– this pathetic excuse of a human being– with the same hatred and disgust as he does with the unsubs he faces on the daily.

“Oi, back off, would ya?” Colby sneers, crossing his arms over his chest. Aaron has half the mind to think that he would start stomping around like a petulant child.

For once, Aaron wastes no time digging into his suit pocket and pulling out his badge, a grim look on his face. “FBI. If you make one more comment or so much as glance in her direction again, I will be arresting you and taking you in for custody before you can breathe your next breath. Do you understand me?”

The silence is almost deafening and Aaron finds his patience withering with every passing second.

“I said, do you understand me?”

“Fuck you,” Colby snaps, drunkenly lunging with his fists clenched to clock Aaron in the face.

Aaron resists the urge to roll his eyes as he handcuffs Colby’s arms behind his back, dragging him out of the bar. “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court…”

Everything after that is a blur. The bar awards you and the rest of the team free drinks and food for the remainder of your stay, and Colby is taken off to the nearest police precinct in record time. Regardless of all the delicious food, your appetite no longer exists as you curl into Aaron’s side, his arm draped lazily around your shoulders.

“Are you alright?” He murmurs, his lips grazing lightly against your forehead. “I’m sorry that something like that happened. You didn’t deserve to go through that.”

“You didn’t deserve to almost be punched in the face,” You respond back, a wry smile spreading across your lips.

He laughs, squeezing your shoulder. “He was punching air, sweetheart. I don’t really know where he was aiming, but there was no way that he was going to actually hit me.”

Aaron watches you, the way you turn away from him and pick at your fingers. He exhales after a moment, dipping his head to meet your woeful gaze. “None of this–” he gestures to where one of the staff members is carefully cleaning up the broken glass– “is your fault. I hope you understand that. What happened was not your fault and you shouldn’t blame yourself for someone else’s actions.”

His words make you smile a little and you can’t help but press a soft kiss against his cheek. “Yeah. You’re lovely, Aaron, you know that?”

“I could say the same for you, sweetheart,” he murmurs, squeezing your shoulder again. “You’re the loveliest.”

i don’t know what this is… not a fic, more like a word vomit about remus loving you HAHA enjoy <3

Remus Lupin wasn’t religious in one way or another. But even he knew you were godsent.

Passed out, lying with twisted limbs and a drool-filled mouth; you looked nothing short of an angel.

He touches you, you don’t stir. That’s good, he thinks. It means he has more time to love you without having to accept undeserved affection in return.

He’d asked the question a thousand times, thought about it even more. Why me? And you’d smile at him like he wasn’t a monster, like he wasn’t born to kill. Who else? you’d say. And that’s when Remus realised that it doesn’t take kindness to love somebody; all it takes is that ache in your heart and burn in your fingertips. He wasn’t kind; yet he loved you.

The tips of his fingers dance across your cheek, feeling the soft skin on which his lips had made their home. He has unordinary courage tonight; he dares to bring his other hand to rest on the bend in your hip.

He brushes his thumb, featherlike, underneath your shirt. His shirt. You make a soft sound, and it’s all he needs to hear to know what heaven sounds like.

Remus had never felt like yours was more than a title until he met you. He was yours, yours to love, yours to break, yours to throw away. He belonged to you, and that was the greatest badge of honour any man could wear. He wanted you to touch him, make your mark upon him until it burnt, and he’d thank you for branding him with the etch of your thumbprint.

You were perfect; in every sense of the word. He’d learn every tongue till he was fluent in showing you how utterly divine you were. The dark lines on your thighs didn’t bother him nearly as much as they did you, and neither did the scars. He cursed himself reverently for his own; but never yours. Every mark on your being was a part of you, every inch of your skin a holy grail he’d read without complaint.

He’d worship you if you’d let him. Let his hands find their haven in every nook and crevice of your perfect body, whisper feverish words of cadence and cruelty till you screamed his name. You allowed him to touch you; and that was enough for now.

As he feels you now, mindlessly splaying his hands on your bare back, your eyes flutter open. Remus doesn’t think he’ll ever get used to the jerk of his heart stopping when you look at him like that. You reach for him with a smile even in half-lidded consciousness; he goes without protest because it’s you.

He knew forever wasn’t a word meant for lovers. But for now, he can hold you in his arms and hear your heartbeat when you pull him in. You'll let him tell you he loves you till the grave, and that is compensation enough.

james potter x reader ★ 761 words

James knew from the moment he saw you, you were the one.

He sees you every week at the same bakery, ordering the same drink and the same pastry. You were the one he'd befriend, subtly flirt with, and eventually ask on a date. He'd pick you up with a bouquet of your favorite flowers, take you to dinner nearby. You two share a dessert, the kind James carefully spoons into your mouth with an adoring smile. Like the gentleman he is he'll walk you back home, brushing his hand against yours until he's brave enough to just take it.

After a few months of seeing each other he'd ask you to be his, officially. Probably with a box of pastries from your favorite bakery, and a cheesy card that makes his heart skip a beat when you laugh at it. You two would spend the evening eating takeout and watching your favorite movies, finishing off the night with him feeding you the last fruit tart in bed. He'll whisper sweet nothings until you fall into a beautiful slumber in his arms.

He'll tell you he loves you. Probably on the beach, because Sirius wold his it's romantic and girls like that sort of thing. He'll most likely be in tears as he tells you how much you mean to him, and that there's no one else in the world who could make him feel this way. You'll laugh while wiping his tears as well as your own, only making him cry more when you tell him you love him too.

James wants you to meet his parents. Just a casual dinner at the Potter's, he'll tell you. He'll watch in adoration as you fret around your room figuring out what to wear, you don't want to give off a bad first impression. He'll tell you they'll love you, because he does so why wouldn't they? You'll laugh as he pepper your face with kisses and showers you with every compliment in the book.

The Potters are nothing if not kind. Once arriving at his childhood home, James will take your coat. Mr. Potter will give you a handshake, and wonder how you put up with his son. Mrs. Potter will laugh and usher you into the kitchen, where she'll have tea ready for you. You'll all have a good chat over home baked biscuits, and play a round of blackjack or two. By the end of your stay you'll already be called 'daughter-in-law', and have a tin of leftovers to take home.

James will be nervous to ask you to move in with him, but you'll jump into his arms and say yes. It'll take you two along with the help of Sirius and Remus to carry in all of your things, except the latter will sneak off with you to drink lemonade in the kitchen. Sirius will whine about how it's not fair that he's come out with chipped nail polish and frizzy hair while Remus was gossiping with you. Remus will remind him that he has chronic pain and the exercise will be good for his tattooed friend.

You'll come home one day to a box of chocolates and a letter laying by the front door. The letter will be filled with loving words and directions to a secret location. It'll lead you to a park, one where James had taken you several times on picnics. This time, there will be a rose-filled path leading you to a small platform where your boyfriend will be nervously standing. A small speaker will accompany him, your favorite love song playing softly.

Once you reach him he'll shakily get down on one knee, wiping his eyes with the sleeve of his suit jacker and pull out a small velvet box from his pocket. He'll open and close his mouth, unable to get any words out. You'll bend down to cradle his face, telling him he doesn't have to say anything, and kiss him.

The two of you will plan and have the most memorable time of your lives the day of your wedding, with much help from your loved ones. Your now husband will not be able to keep his emotions in check, not even when you're in the hotel bed at the end of the night. He'll tell you there's nothing else he could wish for, now that he has you for the rest of his life.

James knew from the moment he saw you, you were the one.

He only hopes that one day you'll look back at him.
