Beyond the terrors, there must be safety and reward, right? How could such a great, beautiful destination let you die right at its doorstep? And yet, it does. It isn’t the paradise it looks like from afar. In fact, it might as well be hell.

That harsh reality is gradually battered into you, rock after rock. The last of the hope leaves your body. Then, and only then, can you see heaven.
