update: My weeks is fine but my A6 definitely is showing heavy shadowing and feathering (when you squint). I don't know if I would have considered having gotten part of the bad batch if I didn't have the 2025 weeks on hand to compare it to. That being said, I'm a beginner to the fountain pen world, and I write with a LAMY Safari and LAMY black ink. I'm certain a fountain pen aficionado would have noticed much faster.

as much as I'm not sure how much I'll write in my hobonichi planners for next year in fountain pen, I think I'll be super frustrated if I got part of the bad batch for cost and quality expectations alone... as someone who has to fight the urge to planner hop a bunch, it doesn't bode well for my planner fomo if I've invested into planners for a year that came with a lower quality of paper than expected vs getting a planner that I know has lower paper qualify than trp and just bearing with it.
