Little info: Mistuki worked/works as a lobster fishermen, she met Inko when they were 18ish, Inko fell in love with a human and he returned to the sea with her ponyo’s dad style <3, her and mitsuki stayed good friends so Bakugou and Deku grew up together

Time skip, Deku gets caught up in a curse, and Bakugou helps him out, shows him all the fun stuff on land, and tries to help him break the curse. It takes awhile for them to realize they love each other, they’re both oblivious to their own not-so-platonic feelings for the other, so before they figure that out, there’s a bunch of silly shenanigans :) (and a bit of miscommunication/angst and pining)

I feel like enough time has passed since Steven Universe ending to say this: inventing your own alter ego and then launching a war against yourself is an iconic move actually. It's like if Batman and Bruce Wayne had public beef except if entire armies were involved. She really Did That. She said "go big or go home" and then went so big that no-one could ever go home, and then changed the fate of the entire galaxy by faking her own death. She slutted it up bisexually and broke countless hearts along the way. Iconic move after iconic move. Non-stop slaying. A queen an icon a legend. No-one does it like her.

how is everyone else’s recovery going in the au where all of tbk got kidnapped and tortured in the court of stars to get adaine to be the oracle?

the general answer is "as well as it can, given The Horrors." barring fabian, everyone has supportive family or guardians and general contact with each other. it's slow, and it's unlikely that they'll ever really be who they were in full again, but they Will get better. that much i can promise--in the future of this au, things aren't the same, but they are better.

in a more specific sense, fig is re-teaching herself to play bass now that her fingers have been healed, but she still won't sing or speak. gorthalax and sandra lynn keep bringing her sheet music and blank notebooks of staff paper for if she wants to write again. she hasn't been back to hell in a bit, but she's started decorating her horns a little bit again.

kristen is terrified of the dark after being kept in it for about seven months. she struggles with dissociation after having her world so often reduced to empty darkness and can't stand the feeling of anything on her face. she won't pray or reach for cassandra in front of anyone but unlike fig she talks as much as she can. it helps keep her grounded

adaine is definitely the best off physically but struggling immensely with having to rely on the adults around her to take care of her friends after their safety hinging on her behavior. it's easy to check on the other girls, less so to check on the boys. this is not helped by the discovery of fabian's condition, but she spends a lot of time with aelwyn and jawbone and it helps.

gorgug hasn't gone into a rage since the seven maidens got them out of the tower, not after being conditioned to fear it even more than before freshman year. all four of his parents are steadily coaxing him out of his shell, though, and after many tears and nightmares finally managed to build a bed he can't break. his tusk can't regrow until the metal capping it is taken off, but he spends a lot of time cooking with wilma and digby and decorating picnic baskets for everyone.
