Thank you for calling them out in their bs. I'm in a state of grieving/remembering some old friends of mine. A few years ago in high school one of them did off themselves because they got bullied over a ship... These bullies were obsessed over him and it just goes to show no one (bullies) don't care until there really is some blood shed. I'm sickened because my friend was in a bad state of mind and this was so fixable but what do I know. I'm just a grieving friend- 💔

Anon, I am so so sorry. I just don’t know what to say. I can’t imagine the pain of that, for you and for your friend. I’m just really sorry.

I think it’s important to remember that words and hateful attacks can hurt people properly. People on sites like this exist behind the blogs, they have feelings and issues and life going on.

There is no excuse for this kind of bullying shit.

You have absolutely no idea what people are dealing with outside of this little site. No idea. And if you think it’s fun to attack someone about a fucking fictional ship, fun to tell them to kill themselves, then there is seriously something fucking wrong with you. Get help. Because currently, you’re disgusting.

And everyone else, your ship isn’t who you are. The character you find attractive doesn’t make you a bad person. You don’t deserve hate. You don’t deserve to be made to feel so bereft that suicide is your only option. At the moment the only thing to do on tumblr is to block and report. But please keep doing that, please. Tumblr is culpable in this too.

I don’t know whereabouts you are anon but I’m in the UK so I’m just going to list some charities that may be beneficial to people suffering with this. I’m an extreme advocate for mental health awareness. I won’t discuss my own personal issues because it’s not open for people here to dissect, but I do want you to know that help is out there.

• NSPA (suicide prevention)

• Support After Suicide (bereavement counselling)

• MindOut (an LGBTQIA+ mental health foundation)

There are so many more but I can’t think of any right now. If anyone would like to add to this please do. It’s incredibly important to get it out there that help is available.
